Feel: The children in GPS Mallelpally No-2 designed an activity to bring change in
their surroundings. The children felt a lot about the decrease of plants in present society.
We are cutting a large number of trees for various reasons e.g.: For preparing paper etc.
In our civilized society, we are enjoying lot of comforts. One of those are
vehicles. Through the vehicles, we are releasing carbon dye oxide, which is harmful to
our health. Because of Industrialization, Carbon monoxide and other harmful gases are
releasing into the outside environment. We are taking this polluted air and getting lungs
problems.
If we plant more trees, the trees can get the carbon dye oxide and releases the
Oxygen. We should aware of this and work towards it because the every human being
needs Oxygen to survive. Trees not only give us oxygen, but also save the earth from
soil erosion.
Imagine: After the children discussed among themselves, they have collected plants
from their community. Then they have met the Community members and expressed their
thoughts. The children explained to the community people about the importance of
plantation. The community members listened to the children carefully. They told to the
children that they would plant the trees and save the lives.
Do: Then the children went as a rally in Zebabag and gave slogans to the community.
After the rally, the children returned to the school GPS Mallepally No-2 and planted the
trees. The other community members gave a promise to the children that they would
plant the trees in and outside their houses.
Share: The community people shared their feelings with one another and they felt the
importance of plantation.. In addition, if there is any necessity to cut a tree, they will
plant a tree before cutting it. The children felt very happy about the change of the
community.
2. Children are ready for the rally with the plants
Starting from the School as a rally. Interacting with the community members
Explainig about the importance of Plantation. Community member is asking the doubts.
Design team member is clarifying the doubts. Planting the trees
