If Medicaid is expanded and every eligible person enrolled,
and those eligible for subsidies purchased on the Exchange,
the number of uninsured could be reduced by as much as
4,539—or 85.7% of the uninsured population.
• 5,296 non-elderly adults are uninsured— 14.9% of that
population
• 1,548 uninsured adults would become eligible if Virginia
expanded Medicaid— 39.3% of non-elderly uninsured
• 306 children are eligible for CHIP/FAMIS, but not enrolled
