As a Sales Associate myduties are to perform transactions for customers quicklybut the
customer should have a pleasantexperience as well. I have to know how to use a cash
register.I have to handle and distribute currency. Also, I have to keep my workspace clean
and perform any other duties assigned to me by the manager on duty. As a sales assistant,I
close down the front end by counting all currency in the registers atthe end of the night,
keeping the front end neat and tidy, and operating the Customer Service desk which
services include lottery, Western Union/Money Orders and cashing checks.Ialso am in
charge of directing associates to do specific duties while I’m an office assistant.
