I am writing to you to explore a job opportunity in your esteemed organization.
In this context I am sharing a brief profile of mine for your perusal.
I am currently serving Swiss Emmaus Leprosy Relief Work India (SEI) currently
known as FAIRMED in the capacity of a Finance & Administration Manager
(FAM). As a FAM, I’m handling the project finance, budgeting and monitoring
of their activities on a regular basis; Statutory & legal compliances of the
organization; evaluation of fund raising activities; human resource,
administrative task etc. Prior to joining SEI, I was working as a paid assistant
with M/S T Dhingra & Company Chartered Accountant.
I hold a Chartered Accountant Degree from Institute of Chartered Accountants
of India and a B Com (Hons.) degree from Delhi University. Apart from this I’ve
also attended different courses and seminars conducted by Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India.
My work experience so far has been both enriching and educational. In the
course of it, I have taken genuine efforts to excel, both as an individual
employee as well as a team member. I wish to work with your organization and

Career Objective:
To emphasize on my capabilities and climb the ladder of success through sheer
dedication, commitment and hard work. I look forward for a dynamic career in a

Work Experience:
(A)Presently working with Swiss Emmaus Leprosy Relief Work India (SEI) as Finance
and Admin Manager (November 2011- Till date). SEI is a Non Government
Organization working for the cause of Leprosy. It is an international
organization which has its head office situated at Switzerland.
Key task handled in SEI are as follows:
Finance:
1) Budgeting and Cash Management
∙ Coordinate the preparation of country annual budget and support SEI
supported projects in its preparation.
∙ Supervise programmes budgets follow up, including Country Office management
budget using relevant reports to identify relevant / expected implementation
discrepancies.
∙ To ensure that there are enough funds available in the country to execute the
activities, supervising the relevant reports and transactions (cash
reconciliations, funds requests...).
∙ Maintaining overall relation with banks, including opening and closing accounts.
∙ Advices the Country Representative on the budget follow up and responsible for
the accurate expenditure of the budget.
2) Coordination and overall management of Local Partners
∙ Overview the performance of local partners, ensuring the effective and
transparent use of funds.
3. ∙ To train partners, staff training on the detailed financial guidelines and
requirements in order to implement activities and execute budgets accordingly.
∙ To view the overall uptake of activities including the target accomplishment with
regard to patient services.
3) Accounting and Reporting
∙ Ensure that the expenses executed are allocated to the relevant programme.
∙ Ensure proper accounting of all country office, fundraising and project
transactions.
∙ Ensure proper preparation of Financial Statements, cash book, list of expenses,
bank account reconciliation etc as per the Income Tax act.
∙ Submit financial reports and other relevant reports to the funding agency.
∙ Submit proper utilization of local donations raised in India to the Individual
donors, Corporate, and Schools.
∙ Conduct quarterly audit of projects and monitor the accuracy towards
utilization of funds granted to them.
∙ Conduct regular evaluation of fundraising activities and monitor the ROI.
4) Statutory Compliances
∙ Monitor that the organization adheres to all the statutory Compliances as per
the India Law.
∙ Handle audit for the organizations and ensure there completion on time.
∙ Monitor on date filling of Income Tax Returns, TDS returns and FCRA returns
before their respective dates.
∙ Issue TDS certificates to all the vendors, employees, consultants etc.
∙ Handling Scrutiny assessment on behalf of the organization.
∙ Ensure that the legal status of the organization is updated and renewed as and
when required.
Administration
∙ Manage overall relationship with state holders on behalf of the organization.
∙ Supervise the overall logistic, purchases, equipment procurement, IT services,
and maintenance.
∙ Ensure systematic filling/ documentation at office.
Human Resource Management
∙ Prepare employment contracts; arrange insurance/ medical check- up for all
the staff.
∙ Supervise proper maintenance of staff register; leave records, balances for all
staff.
∙ Supervise staff payroll is accurate and paid on time.
4. ∙ Contribute to the establishment and maintaining of a harmonious working
environment; seeks to strengthen team-building by encouraging active
participation and interaction at all levels.
∙ Prepare and participate in the carry out of any recruitment process for staff
as and when required.
∙ To advice Country representative on HR policies in accordance with law and
general practices in India.

∙ Attend meetings related to my area of work and represent the organization in

management procedures.
