CareSearch is an online resource designed to help those needing relevant and trustworthy information and resources about palliative care.
The average GP sees 5 palliative care patients a year. While palliative care is important, it is not something that GPs engage with on a daily basis. We need to develop tools to better support GPs.
We searched for these 8 terms through the iTunes and Google Play stores and discovered 2891 different apps.
Upon closer inspection, many of these apps were unrelated to clinical care of palliative care patients within the community. They included games, job vacancy sites, foreign language apps.

The world’s largest palliative care clinical trial demonstrated the value of conducting case conferences for people living in the community
