Relevant Project Work
I have created multiple games in the GameMaker engine. One of these was a large Group Project, the
rest were alone.
Over the course of my first and second year of college, I made 3 websites using HTML, CSS and
Javascript.
As a member of a 4 man group, I created a front-end for a database focused on user-functionality. We
used SQL and Java to do this.
I have created many games using Python and the PyGame API over my time in A.I.T. One of these
was heavily focused on A.I and Computer Behaviour.
I have created an accurate depiction of a Tank in the physics engine Box2D.
I have done multiple Java projects involving GUI Design.
I have made multiple projects in C++ showing off my understanding of the language fundamentals.
One of these was a simulation of a ticking booking system in a cinema.
I am currently part of a 4 man group creating a 3D driving game using 3ds Max, Blender, Unity, C#
and Javascript. This is the most successful and driven group project I have been a part of, and
something I have great passion for.

I have extensive knowledge of Computer Hardware, building PCs is a past-time of
mine.
I have leadership skills. In all of the Group work I have done in college, I have been
the group leader.
3. Interests and Hobbies:
Building Computers. I have been building PCs for years as a hobby. I do I.T work
for friends and family whenever needed.
Programming is a deep interest of mine. I'm open to learning and I have looked into
a huge list of languages and APIs. I'm a member of multiple online programming
communities.
Game Development is one of my biggest passions. I have used MonoGame, LOVE,
Unity, Unreal Engine 4, GameMaker, Pygame, and written games from scratch. I
am currently working as part of a 4 man group on a game made in Unity. I am a
member of many online game development communities.
Reverse Engineering in Software. I love learning how things work, so taking apart a
piece of software to see how it runs, or perhaps even improve it, interests me
greatly. This is the same for Open Source Software.
Achievements:
As a core member of a small online team of 10-12 people, I contributed to a project
where we reverse-engineered an un-released, un-finished game from a popular
franchise made by a large, well-known company. With a large following during
development (Millions of people were aware of the project, over a hundred thousand
followed the project extensively), and coverage by almost every major video game
journalist website(Such as PCGamer, TorrentFreak, Kotaku, EuroGamer, some of
which included me being interviewed), the project is fully released and still alive
today, even though I am no longer a part of it, due to creative differences and a need
to focus on my work in college.
I have multiple medals in chess from the ages 10-13. One of these is Silver medal
for Leinster.
Top of my class in Fetac Level 5 Software Development and Game Design.
