Our Company
National1 Energy is an Energy Advisory firm created to cater to today’s demands in the US energy
markets. The company's management team has over 100 years of combined energy deregulation
expertise and is one of the most successful brokerage and direct marketing groups in North
America and Europe. Since inception nearly 20 years ago, we have specialized in opening
deregulated energy markets, helped establish government energy industry policies, and launched
and managed large scale direct sales marketing campaigns. Our primary focus is commercial
customer acquisition and energy efficiency programs under regulatory bodies, energy suppliers
and residential/commercial/industrial customers.
Worldwide deregulated energy markets are our specialty, as we have helped over 1.2 million
clients of all types and sizes reduce their energy costs while assisting some of the world's largest
manufacturing companies substantially control their power expenses.
We provide a free direct consulting service to our commercial and industrial customers who are
looking to improve and reduce their energy spending and we allow solid and reputable energy
companies direct access to the their potential customer base to completely fulfill the enrollment
process of new customers.

Our Team
National1 Energy, LLC is part of an international marketing and advisory group specialized in the
utility markets of Europe and North America. We have achieved a customer/member base of over
1.5 million accounts in the past 19 years in Canada, the US and the UK, providing Natural Gas,
Electricity and Telecoms enrollment services to residential, commercial and industrial customers.
We have 13 locations in the United States currently serving 6 de-regulated States and the District
of Columbia. Each office is composed of several key people, each of whom has acquired extensive
knowledge in all fields of the utility markets, sales and customer service. Our sales force have been
sourced from experienced sales professionals from around the country who have been subject to
rigorous screening and training processes before earning the right to wear the National1 Energy
badge.
Our US management team has reached 100 years of combined experience in utility deregulation,
and counts among its consultants over 200 years achievements in North America and Europe. The
team management group has led the way in newly de-regulated markets and navigated the ultra-
competitive waters of more mature markets for customers throughout the globe.
Since inception we have worked closely with select Retail Energy providers on uniquely structured
contract arrangements designed to meet the sales objectives of both organizations for mutual
benefit and ease of management. We don’t just sell, we partner with suppliers.

National1 Energy drives medium and long term cost benefit for our clients by managing their
electricity expenses based on “per kilowatt-hour” usage charges. National1 Energy is a true energy
advisor, and we work hard to maintain an ongoing relationship with customers throughout the
terms of service.

Our Fees
National1 Energy continues our proud heritage of offering complementary service to our valued end
customers. We negotiate our fees as part of our contract engagement with suppliers and only
receive payment when a contract is enacted by the end customer. Since our inception, we have
worked hard for our customers and suppliers for the mutual benefit of both parties. We feel if those
parties are served correctly on every enrollment, our business will also flourish.
In summary…our services are provided at no-risk and no obligation. Our fees are earned only after
our customer is satisfied with the rate and terms we have sourced from you the supplier.

Our Approach
On any given business day, all electricity suppliers survey the market for risk factors, market
conditions, financial security, sales expectations and other factors to set a rate for contracts to be
offered to the marketplace. These prices are essentially “rack rates” that hedge risk on behalf of
the supplier at a safe margin without regard to the size, scope and needs of the customers they
enroll. As a supply partner with National1 Energy, we encourage our customers to make quick and
simple decisions, but also will require the ability to negotiate straight with senior pricing personnel
on the trade desks of the suppliers. We will gather specific information about the distinct usage of
customer organizations and use this information to tailor a specific electricity package built
specifically for their business “electricity profile”.
What is an “electricity profile”? Each day, every business uses electricity differently than another. A
publicly listed organization with a large corporate office building will use electricity differently than
a factory running a 24/7 3-shift schedule, than a franchisee with 25 restaurant locations; so will an
entrepreneur running their own business use power differently than his neighbor. These differences
over time create a usage profile of your business that is measured by your electricity meter. That
data, when interpreted by our professional team, gives us an ”electricity profile” for your company.
We contract with carefully selected high-profile and financially secure electricity suppliers and
negotiate on your behalf to secure custom rates that you simply cannot access directly. Our
reputation for professionalism combined with our track record of performance means we have
additional leverage as these suppliers compete for our business, and yours. The result is the most
competitive rate all our businesses can secure, without compromise.

Our Process
Our goal is to partner with suppliers and customers to negotiate best rates and service levels from
the best suppliers in all our markets. Processes vary from Country-to-Country and State-to-State in
the US, so your best strategy is to contact your National1 Energy for a free face-to-face
consultation. Your National1 Agent has been trained and certified to advise you on your best
course of action for your business.
In the meeting, you can expect your Agent to ask you for a detailed description of your business
and your expectations for your next electricity contract. Your agent will ask about the size,
breadth, and growth outlook for your business in order to get a feel for your business and its power
supply capacity. Usually, you can expect your Agent to request you provide some no-risk, no-
obligation Authorizations that will allow them to start examining your electricity profile.
From that point, the process will move in line with the strategy you and your agent have discussed
and agreed. Each business has unique circumstances and your agent is trained to work with you on
a plan that works best for your organization.

At National1 Energy we pride ourselves on maintaining some of the most regimented and
disciplined Quality Assurance Programs in the industry. Our senior management team has over 100
years collective experience in de-regulated energy markets worldwide and that expertise is
meticulously transferred to our agents. Our supply partners are some of the nation’s Who’s Who of
electricity businesses and our policies mirror theirs for quality service delivery.
Electricity contract management is a challenging business. Details such as which meter, what rate,
what start date, what length, what provider, what contract terms, which contract clauses, and a
myriad of other distinct and important features, means there are exponential areas where slight
errors in Quality control can result in substantial and costly mistakes for customers, agents, and
suppliers if not handled correctly. Proper controls are therefore paramount for efficiency.
To correctly manage the QA process from the start, National1 Energy only hires the best and most
qualified candidates. All our sales professionals have demonstrated a track record of successful
sales and account management and are subjected to a rigorous training regimen prior to
engaging with customers. Beyond the initial screening and background checks performed
on every sales agent, ongoing training is a staple of our developmental approach and each
National1 Energy representative is required to take part in regular training seminars and
certification clinics to remain an active advisor. As a result of our process, we attract only those
professionals who understand the importance of timely and thorough quality control.
In our pricing and contract processing departments, QA disciplines are even more strictly enforced.

Information presented is collected through information provided by the customer, Transmission
and Distribution Utility Companies, and the Retail Electric Providers offering these secured rates.
The information is subject to change if new data is presented or discovered and rates are subject to
change daily.
When you decide to engage National1 Energy to assist in your customer acquisition, be prepared
for your agent to demonstrate urgency. This is not a sales tactic, but a circumstance related to the
fluidity of the electricity market. Your agent has one goal in mind – find the contract that is right
for our customer so responsiveness is paramount to our engagement.
