CONCLUSION.
All on Hausa traditional compound has been highlighted and
discussed. But one thing that has not changed is that Hausa’s
accept updates but don’t make much changes to their pattern of
design (spatial allocation). Though Hausa’s in contemporary time
now build /construct much taller buildings but the same rules are
still applicable to their design pattern as seen in their traditional
houses. Their contemporary residential houses still contain “the
Mosque”, “the Visitors room”, and the segregation of the females
of the house to a secluded part of the house. And their Kitchen is
still located outside of the buildings.
