David commenced employment in November 2013 at QantasLink's Canberra maintenance base as a contractor. Maintenance Base, as a contractor LAME with our indentured labour contract provider ‐
Sigma Aerospace. From the induction / training initial phase, up until now, David has
constantly been motivated, reliable, punctual, helpful, professional and flexible with any task
or shift request. I find I only have to ask David once to get onto something or follow up on a
matter, and he will always deliver promptly and ensure he communicates with everyone
necessary so everyone is informed. He has been an asset in our business.
David has had extensive experience at our organisation on Dash 8 Q400 and Boeing 717
servicing (A Checks), defect rectification and receipt / dispatch on the ramp. David was type
trained on the Q400 in 2014 and now holds this aircraft licence.
