SVM 5 is a premium viscosity modifier used to formulate multi-grade engine oils. It is a solid hydrogenated styrene-isoprene polymer that dissolves well in mineral and synthetic oils. SVM 5 requires a lower dosage than other viscosity modifiers and provides excellent low temperature performance, optimal contribution to high temperature viscosity, and passes stringent modern engine oil specifications. The polymer should be dissolved under high heat and agitation and stored below 50°C to maintain stability for 36 months.

performance requirements demanded of modern diesel and gasoline engine oil specifications.
SVM 5 has excellent permanent SSI 05, low temperature performance, optimal contribution to
high temperature viscosity.
Dissolving Method:
- SVM Solid Form should be dissolved under high agitation in oil at 80 – 1100C with 6-12
hours until all solids have been dissolved.
- SVM Solid Form: 36 months from date of production at temperature not exceeding
600C in dry condition, exposure to light to be avoided.
Safety, Handling and Storage:
- Wear suitable dust mask and gloves when handling polymer
- Avoid storing polymer more than 500C prolonged periods. And avoid direct sunlight
