After an attic fire, Lath & Plaster Restoration was necessary to bring this beautiful church back to life.
The remaining ceilings and walls had to be fixed of cracks and repainted.

2. After removal of damaged Lath & Plaster a detailed clean and containment was scheduled.
Cutting and scrapping the perimeter of the open was essential for a secure bond to the new plaster.
Following was the installation of custom cut Lath.
To match the existing 5/8 Plaster thickness it was necessary to do 4 coats of Plaster.

3. After the next 3 coats, drying, painting and touch-ups, we had a final product that matched the existing
plaster.

4. Before painting the entire church, cracks had to be scrapped, sanded, cleaned, countersunk & taped.
Following this prep work, 2 coats of plaster (base and finish) were applied to match all exiting walls and
ceilings.
