Once in a lifetime you meet a young lady that is as dynamic as Danielle is. She is a true leader
and mentor to the girls that gifted Houlton Middle/High School. At her time at Houlton High
School she participated in student council, student government, mentoring, football and
government on the state and national level. Danielle has proven herself to be a trailblazer. She
encouraged her classmates to be the best that they could be by helping the freshman set goals
for themselves. She worked three jobs on top of all of this and always came to school with a
smile on her face ready to lead and learn.
Danielle has proven herself to be a top student. She was a member of National Honor Society
and graduated in the top 20% of her class a feat not easily accomplished when taking the level
of rigor that Danielle has.
Danielle was a phenomenal ambassador for Houlton High School and Maine and represented
our area terrifically. She has been asked by political leaders to represent Maine at the national
level. Her drive and tenacity make her a truly exceptional person.
I am confident she will continue to be a driven and focused student at Thomas college.
Danielle will be successful at anything she puts her mind to. I highly recommend her for this
internship as she will not only be an asset to your team, but this experience will help her in
her political career experience.
