The Accelerating Athletes program aims to help academically strong Asian student athletes gain admission to top American universities by strengthening their athletic abilities and application portfolios. The intensive multi-week summer program provides academic counseling, athletic training, and university admissions guidance. Students work to improve their physical conditioning and skills through training at Ultimate Performance gym while also preparing their applications through resume and interview workshops. The program is run collaboratively by Foundation Global Education and Ultimate Performance coaches and counselors to give students a competitive edge in the university admissions process.
3. The primary aim of Accelerating Athletes
is to supercharge athletic students to
fortify their university application by
showcasing their passion, their talent, and
their dedication to athleticism and thereby
helping them to stand out from the
applicant pool.
Foundation Global Education has devised
a comprehensive American university
preparation and application program:
Accelerating Athletes. Specifically
designed with promising athletic
students in Asia in mind who are
academically strong, but need the
advice, guidance and mentoring that only
Foundation can provide for US-bound
students.

4. Headquartered in Hong Kong, Foundation Global
Education has helped hundreds of students in Asia
pursue the dream of studying overseas since 2001.
Our counselors provide comprehensive bespoke
guidance to help each student build strong
portfoliosbasedonacademics,extracurricularactivities,
and an in-depth exploration of their passion and talents.
For over a decade, we have been serving families with
one purpose in mind: to give every child a chance at
success. We believe there is a school for everyone, one
that suits the individual student. With our extensive
experience of schools around the world, we are
confident in our ability to find the best fit for every
student.
5. To be accepted to the best universities, it is no longer just about how good a
students’ grades are, he or she must now also demonstrate strengths beyond
academics to prove well-roundedness so that every student will contribute to
the university as a whole. This is what Foundation’s competitive sports program
exemplifies.
The other important factor determining collegiate athletic success is to shrink
the gap for an athlete at Hong Kong secondary school-level BEFORE they
head to U.S. university-level sports program.
Our research indicates that universities (in Division’s I, II and III), have an
intensive sports-specific training roster: fitness training 5-times per week,
strength and conditioning training, weekly intramural games and inter-college
competitions happening in addition to those. When one compares this with
Hong Kong’s secondary schools: twice-weekly physical education class, after
school club training once a week and Saturday morning competitions, it is sure
to leave the US-bound athlete wanting.
