Daniela Collado is a senior associate at Santo Domingo who focuses on foreign investment, economic regulation, and international trade issues. She advises clients on matters related to the WTO, trade agreements, and regulatory compliance. Ms. Collado also has experience in corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, franchise agreements, and share purchase agreements. She is a member of the Dominican Bar Association and teaches international economic law.

Agreements
Daniela Collado focuses her practice on foreign investment, economic
regulation and international trade including WTO and market access
issues. Ms. Collado provides advise on international trade and
investment related issues under WTO, TBI and Regional Trade
Agreements.
She also has substantial experience in corporate transactions, drafting
and negotiating contracts such as franchise agreements, service
provision agreements, share purchase agreements and shareholders’
loan and security agreements.
She has been a speaker on international trade related issues in the
Dominican Republic with UNCITRAL and the European Law Students
Association (ELSA).
Ms. Collado also teaches international economic law and is the
former Director of the Master on International Relations at the
Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in Santo
Domingo. Ms. Collado is a member of the Dominican Bar
Association and a founding member of the legal Committee of the
American Chamber of Commerce in Dominican Republic.

largest telecom carrier in the Dominican Republic in Chapter 11
restructuring involving more than US$650 million in debt.
 Representing local industry on the first anti-dumping measure cases
pursuant to WTO provisions with local regulators.
 Advising multinational glass manufacturers on the first safeguard
measures case presented in the Dominican Republic pursuant to
WTO provisions with local regulators.

 Advising several clients before the custom authorities on WTO-CVA

 Advising non-Dominican investors on the advantages of DR-CAFTA
