2. What do we want:
The purpose of my presentation is to introduce the first true wireless Ekg system called Cardio Unwired. This product takes
Ekg’s to another level, changing how we do medical care. In this presentation you will see why Cardio Unwired is the future for
medical care.
Who are we:
LeadMe Medical came to be because I saw a need that would benefit hospitals, doctors, and consumers alike. After working in
the medical field for many years I constantly ran into problems with the current Ekg systems we have today. Constant tangling,
damaged wires, and sanitary issues plague EKG wired systems. LeadMe Medical’s Cardio unwired takes all those issues and
throws them away, by being a completely wire free system. Cardio Unwired is a product that goes beyond just monitoring
heart rhymes, it’s purpose is to help elevate and extend the quality of life.
Mission Statement:
creating innovative technology for the purpose of providing compassionate, reliable, and quality care one heart beat at a time.
3. Whats my Market:
My market really varies. My starting push will be with hospitals and
patient care areas being my product will help solve all there EKG
issues. The issues of tangles, costs in replacing the damaged wires,
and the issue of using unsanitary equipment. My product will
eliminate all these issues making my product a must have. After
establishing my presence I will then start introducing my product to
research facilities and then to the consumer market. My strategy is
designed to start with where the main need is and then work my
way to the broader audience. My product can appeal to all these
markets and make itself needed.
Where do I stand among my competition:
• I plan to own the market share I desire by beating my competition in
each of there core areas. My design will push me to the top of each of
my competitors taking a bigger share than all of them combined.
• GE has dominated the Hospital market but they currently do not have
a wire free EKG system which puts them at a disadvantage with new
emerging tech.
• LifeSync is a fairly new company that has little push. Their design is
close to a wireless system but still needs a box connected to it. They
may have some use in research but there market share won’t really
ever reach past 10%.
• QardioCore is a new wireless system made more for consumer usage.
There product is a bit pricey and geared more towards fitness, which
with all the smart watch technology I feel this product won’t do well.

4. What is Cardio Unwired:
The product Cardio UNWIRED is a completely wire free EKG
system. The system would include a monitor that is
compatible with all the current vital sign monitors as well as
the wire free leads. The monitor would be more for hospitals
and surgery centers while doctor’s offices, research
institutes, and the sports world would be using an app that
functions just like the monitor. Both the monitor and app
would require the use of the wire free leads making them the
constant part of my product. The wire free electrodes are
what is attached to the patient and sends the EKG data to the
monitor or app. The monitor or app is the brains which turns
the data coming from the electrodes into the EKG waveform.
A complete wireless system helps to alleviate frustrating
tangles, costs due to damage, and stay sanitary. Both the
monitor and app will be compatible with the same EKG
disposable electrodes making manufacturing less
complicated.
Where to buy:
Medical device companies in general usually use specific
medical distribution companies to sell their products.
The reason being they already have so many products in
places that it makes it easier to get new products into
those places using their already established relationship.
Especially when it comes to contracts with major
hospital systems it makes more sense to deal with a
company that brings multiple products than a company
that only brings one. So, for this reason one of my first
steps would be securing a contract with a medical
distribution company which would automatically put me
into the mix. Hospitals and doctor’s offices would be the
front lines for my distributers because of the need.
However, I could see my product in places such as
schools and major league sports for research and
learning and even, stores such as CVS and Walgreens to
pick up replacement electrodes. My choice to use
distributors comes down to costs and market entry
barriers. Outside of a distributor I would sale directly as
well through my website and even my product app. My
product wouldn’t probably do well in retail at first only
because its use would usually be in correlation with
doctors, researchers, and learning. Once my company
begins to get established I could eventually see my
product in specific stores that have medical supplies and
equipment.
5. How will you sell me:
My strategy is simple. I’ll let my product speak for itself. Just seeing in in action puts all questions to
rest. Once it is seen it will be wanted because of how it solves problems and brings innovation.
How much am I:
Cost of my product varies. Buying the Monitor would cost 5,000 dollars with the three different
disposable electrode packs ranging from .99 cents to 4.99. An option I would have would be leasing
the monitor for free if a contract was created that guarantee buying a certain number of electrodes
a year. In this option however the electrodes have a twenty five percent markup in price. The high
cost of the monitor is due to its medical grade quality and future upgrade features. The built-in
security, other device compatibility and interference blocker also play a role into the cost. The app
for consumer use will have a subscription cost 9.99. The cost of the electrodes will be from 1.99 to
6.99 depending on what pack you get. The subscription cost covers 24/7 emergency response
services, personal health reports, and continued app support. I’m using a mixture of product line
pricing and phycological pricing. With the option of buying or leasing I create product line pricing.
My process using 99. cents takes away from the actual dollar amount creating phycological pricing.
My products prices hit the mark and truly put my product in line to compete.
6. How am I promoted:
Magazine articles especially in medical magazines would be a
main promotional avenue for me. My product is unique in that
you market it in a different way. Medical magazines would help
make doctors and other medical practitioners aware of my
product, which in return could get me in the doors of their
respected facilities. Awareness is the key to getting my product
across to the medical world.
7. Why back us:
So why back me and my company’s product? Because Cardio Unwired is the
most innovative, state of the art, and reliable EKG on the market. Zero wires
mean zero tangles and zero wire replacements. Easy to use navigation on
monitor or app makes set up quick and easy. Just tap, scan, and place and
you’re done, simple as that. Cleaning? What cleaning? Once done just throw
away the disposable leads; nothing else to clean. Choose from 3, 5, or 12
lead disposable electrodes depending on your needs. Either way we got you
covered because here at Lead Me Medical we don’t skip a beat. Don’t get
tangled up with the competition, choose Cardio Unwired for your choice of
EKG systems.
