Leaders from a church in Chókwè, Zimbabwe held a seminar in Hokwe for about 91 local leaders to provide teaching. The local people were receptive to the teaching and asked questions. Testimonies were shared about leaders who abused their power, including a pastor who refused a top leader's advances and went without food for two days as punishment. Another pastor recounted a similar experience with a cook at a Bible school. The Methodist pastor was surprised to hear of these issues, showing the importance of continuing education for leaders. The visiting church plans to return to Hokwe for two weeks in May and June to provide more teaching and help the local people.

answer;the aimis that theywill gobackto theirchurchesand teach.
Whenwe were teachingaboutqualificationsof achurch leaderin1Tim3 we reach the pointof having
one wife.Awife of a Pastor stoodup andgive a testimonyof atop leaderof theirchurch who wanted
to have sex withhershe said;“we wentto the conference aspastorsso whenwe reached there we
were givenaroomsto sleepsothe top leadercame to me and said;”youmust come to my Roomtoday
I wantto sleepwithyoubutI refused,againhe said;thisbeautywe faderawayyoumustenjoylife now
againI refused” sohe decidedtotell the cookersnottogive me food,I slepttwodayswithoutfoodbut
on a thirdday God touchedthe heartof anotherpastorwhotook me to her home andgive me waterto
bath andfooduntil the endof the conference,some theygave themselvestothispastorbuttheyhave
died,todayare no more.
Another pastor said; “the same story happentome inMacia Bible School a cookershe wantedtohave
sex withme but I refused,soshe alwayswasgivingme alittle foodbecause Irefusedtosleepwithher,
so I tookthe matter to leadersof the school andcalledusand rebukedherandI continuedwithmy
studyuntil I finishedbutitneededcourage’stoface and overcome the temptation”.
The pastor of the MethodistChurch wasoverwhelmedhe justasksaquestion“where youwere all
these years?”Whichmeansthe teachingsdelaytoreachtheminHokwe,surelywe delaybecause we
are startedthisyear.
Accordingto our planwe will goback on18-22 April,twoweeksinMayand June Julytoteach them
again,we want to helpthemtosee the way.
