Eaton Recognizes Premier Suppliers And Presents 12 Companies With Supplier
Excellence Awards
CLEVELAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation honored its top suppliers
at its second annual Supplier Awards Program on March 28 at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel.
The event recognized 50 companies as Premier Suppliers. From that group, 12 were selected to
receive highest honors as the company’s Supplier Excellence Award winners.
“We are pleased to recognize and honor these outstanding suppliers,” said Alexander M. Cutler,
Eaton’s chairman and chief executive officer. “Their products, services and support have
contributed greatly to Eaton’s success. With an increasing percentage of our sales -- now 42
percent -- to customers located outside the U.S., our suppliers’ geographic diversity and expertise is
very important to us.”
Richard B. Jacobs, Eaton’s vice president–Supply Chain Management, said, “We have thousands of
suppliers around the world that we evaluate on quality, productivity, innovation and technology.
The companies we are honoring with these awards excel in these critical categories.”
The 12 companies recognized as the best of the best received Supplier Excellence Awards. They
are Bekaert (Belgium), FenS chemicals b.v. (Netherlands), Hansens Engineering (Republic of South
Africa), Hoganas Belgium SA (Belgium), Koyo Corporation (Japan), Maini Precision Products Ltd.
(India), Namsco Plastics Industries Inc. (U.S.), Penske Logistics (U.S.), Shaoguan Hongda Gear
Company Ltd. (China), Summit Energy Services Inc. (U.S.), Truform Machine Inc. (U.S.) and
Zatkoff Seals & Packing (U.S.).
