Reports of discrimination on the job have continued to grow. It is the
employer’s responsibility to formulate and implement an Anti-
Discrimination Policy to address this problem.

Here are the reasons such a policy is necessary:
It promotes a positive and collaborative atmosphere. The last thing
management wants is unproductivity and poor performance, which
workplace discrimination can induce. By ensuring that employees are
working in a welcoming environment, collective morale and
engagement are increased.
It mitigates liability. When there are cases of discrimination in the
office, lawsuits or administrative complaints can arise. Clear policies
help prevent this. Ensuring that employees, regardless of rank, avoid
discriminatory practices through policies, can lessen a company’s
potential liability and improve relationships among the entire
workforce.
It prevents recruitment problems. In today’s society, word travels
fast. Negative reputations, whether warranted or not, can affect a
