After another successful week,
Student Life doesn't dissapoint
delivering an exciting event with the
students, 'as they played each other in
several different games, some of which
included Chess and Checkers.
During a very serious chess session,
both players manipulated each other's
moves, holding tight to the most wanted
target opposing sides laid their eyes on,
the king. The piece required to win.
With Adam Safi, a forensics team
member playing on .one side, and
Brandon Dowles on the opposing, the
two constantly sha~ed laughter and
jokes, to discourage each other.
Time stood still ,both made repetitive
moves, trying to sacrifice the pieces for
the win, "now, he is basically trying to
get me into a corner;' explained Safi
regarding his opponent's motives.
Surprisingly, as Safi had an advantage.

Melero stated as Gonzalez, in a sly way,
slipped her fourth piece, winning the
game.
The games continued and a wider
variety of students approached to test
their critical thinking skills.
Some jokingly insisting playing right
can allow a decent cash flow. ,
