2. INTRODUCTION When the idea of DFC was introduced to the kids at YMCA, they came up with many problems they faced in every day scenario. Some of them were rain water logging in the YMCA premises, heavy school bags, dumping of garbage by the neighborhood inside YMCA etc. When asked the students which problem was of the highest priority, they had mentioned about the garbage disposal problem.

3. FEEL The domestic waste which was thrown into the YMCA campus by the surrounding neighborhood had immense effect on the children , as they were the ones who were asked to clean the garbage when any higher official was to visit. This process had caused a lot of them itching and fungal diseases. Even otherwise the garbage had always served as a breeding ground for mosquitoes and unknown infections. So, with the help of the DFC program the children decided to put an end to this.
