SYNOPSIS
I am a thought leader.
On my social media platform, over the last year and a half, employing the professional skills
developed over a lifespan, I have built and led a global team. Together, we have collectively
influenced conscious global thought and action on a full range of issues presently challenging
national and global security and stability:
• Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism
• Peacekeeping Operations
• Geopolitics
• Foreign Policy
• Economic Stability
• Sustainable Infrastructure
• Climate Change
• Humanitarian Crises and Social Justice
• NGOs and Nonprofit Organizations
• Educational Leadership
• Ethical Leadership
PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy is that in order to effectuate change at the local, state, national and global levels, all
sectors must be supported by the infrastructure necessary to take action; mere information is not a
catalyst of change. Possessing a mastery of how to engage others, through all modes of
communications, so information results in change, I have actively cultivated positive working
relationships with individuals, NGOs, government entities and the military. Like a general, I
believe in getting the job done by leading from the rear, in allowing others to shine, and in never
seeking applause. I believe there is always room for improvement.

Cynthia has proven to be a great thought leader in the field of Global Policy and Security. I have
found Cynthia to be helpful, positive, insightful, responsive, and collaborative. I would highly
recommend working with Cynthia and look forward to working with her again in the future.
Eduardo Meza-Etienne MSc, SSB BART Group, Senior Account Manager, Washington, D.C.
In the time I have known Cindi off and social media, she has demonstrated an uncanny intuitiveness
in addressing contemporary and often times sensitive global issues in a multiplicity of forums. I
have observed her evolving into a well-respected individual whose message is one of tolerance,
peace and kindness. That message is evocatively communicated in multiple languages to a global
audience.

It is a pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Cindi Lardner. Cindi is one of the most
professional colleagues that I deal with. Her credentials are unquestionably solid and her attention
to detail is almost legendary.
I'd like to focus on some to the positive traits of Cindi herself. Words that come to mind when I
think of Cindi are passionate, patient, compassionate, understanding, focused, deliberate,
professional and accomplished. I have no doubt then when you ask Cindi to get a project done, it is
going to be done on time and usually better than requested. She understands the needs of the
consumer and her clients very well and therefore can produce work to solve issues in a first class
manner. It's without hesitation that I would refer Cindi to anyone that is looking for someone with
her skill sets.
Chae H. Bae, Professional Mortgage Source LLC - Managing Member
Cindi Lardner is one of the most creative and educated person I've ever met. Her credentials don’t
do her justice.
Even though her credentials stand on their own and are some of the most impressive I’ve ever seen,
they only scratch the surface of what she brings to the table.
Her talents are in so many areas that I find it difficult for me to recommend her for any single area
of business. I don’t want to sound disingenuous by saying she a jack of all trades and master of all,
but that is the case. Anything she puts her mind to, she becomes an expert. She is an expert in social
media promotions and can generate extraordinary level of engagements compared to her
counterparts in the industry. If you need social media promotion, Cindi Lardner is the go to person.
Cindi’s ability to create a buzz in social media is uncanny.
Her level of compassion and dedication to what she does makes her stand out above most. I would
recommend her for so many different areas of business.
It is an honor for me to recommend her for all areas of business.
William Price King, France-based American jazz.
I have been active on Internet with regards to the #BringBackOurGirls campaign. One of my
videos has been donated to the Organization of this campaign to incite people and particularly other
artists to get involved. I had the pleasure of meeting Cynthia Lardner on Internet as she, too, was
doing her share of boosting the campaign to bring these girls back to their homes.
I noted how fervent Cynthia was in her motivation, her sincerity, honesty, and strength. We started
communicating and I found in her a real friendship which I cherish. Her desire to do her share in
making the world a better place for everyone and her positive attitudes and love for humanity
touched me profoundly.
With her relentless motivation and interest in helping people around the globe, in striving to make
their lives better, and to enhance awareness of their situations, Cynthia would bring a wealth of
knowledge and skills to the UNHCR. I know she would be an excellent fit for your organization.
Cynthia is an intelligent, capable, dedicated, and personable lady. She is always quick on her feet,
with sensible reactions in difficult circumstances. I feel confident in saying that she is capable of
12
handling any situation with thoughtfulness and maturity. Cynthia Lardner would be a tremendous
asset to the UNHCR and I recommend her to you without reservation.
David Kuglemas, Sales Executive at Adorn Fashions Inc.
Cynthia is the embodiment of compassion and kindness. She sheds a light wherever she goes. A
truly wonderful person.

We have known Cindi for her advocacy and eloquent writing on behalf of twice exceptional and
gifted children. She has been also been a liaison for SENG, Supporting the Emotional Needs of
Gifted Children, an important educational and charitable organization.

up on ideas that others overlook and is timely and responsive. She is a pleasure to work with,
friendly and professional. I highly recommend Cindi.”

Hugh (Buck) Davis, Principal at Constitutional Litigation Associates, PC
Cindi is smart, fair, honest, industrious, empathetic, widely read, open-minded, pleasant, giving,
easy to work with. She would make a great associate, co-counsel or counselor. She is a good
researcher and writer. I highly recommend her.
Steve Spreitzer, President and CEO, Michigan Roundtable for Diversity & Inclusion.
Several years ago, when convening an interfaith leader advisory committee for the Michigan
Roundtable, Cindi accepted our invitation, serving as a representative for the broader, metropolitan
Buddhist community. Since that time, Cindi has assisted us with a range of requests, extending
beyond our initial request. I have come to appreciate Cindi's depth of concern for the social welfare
of the community, her passion for honoring difference and her most positive outlook.
Emery Pence, Alumni Director at The Roeper School
Cindi is extremely well-versed in issues of giftedness and is a passionate advocate for gifted kids.
She is a fabulous resource for all interested in child development and education.
Frederick M. Baker, Jr., Chairperson, Publications & Website Advisory Committee
“Eleven Years of Service”
When Cynthia Martinovich Lardner joined what was then called the Bar Journal Advisory Board in
the spring of 1992, she became one of only eight members who are still serving on what is now
called the Publications and Website Advisory Committee.
Since then, she has given birth to three of her four children and nine theme issues of the Bar
Journal, on subjects ranging from commercial law, the UCC, contract law, consumer law, and
district court practice—all areas in which her practice background equipped her to serve as a
knowledgeable editor—to children and the law, psychology and the law, and, with this, her last
theme issue, alternative careers for lawyers.
The themes she has edited recently reflect her evolution from in-house counsel for a large banking
corporation, to private (home office) practitioner and busy mother, to one who has chosen to emerge
from her attorney chrysalis, leaving behind the practice of law altogether, but not the transferable
advocacy and counseling skills she acquired as a lawyer and now will put to use in her new
profession as a psychologist specializing in working with the gifted.
We will miss Cindy’s contributions to the committee’s work, for which we thank her, but we wish
her joy, satisfaction, success, and beautiful ‘‘wings’’ in her new chosen profession.

  • 1. Lardner, Cynthia Curriculum Vitae 1 CYNTHIA MARIE-MARTINOVICH LARDNER, J.D., M.A. cynthiamlardner@gmail.com SYNOPSIS I am a thought leader. On my social media platform, over the last year and a half, employing the professional skills developed over a lifespan, I have built and led a global team. Together, we have collectively influenced conscious global thought and action on a full range of issues presently challenging national and global security and stability: • Terrorism and Counter-Terrorism • Peacekeeping Operations • Geopolitics • Foreign Policy • Economic Stability • Sustainable Infrastructure • Climate Change • Humanitarian Crises and Social Justice • NGOs and Nonprofit Organizations • Educational Leadership • Ethical Leadership PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY My philosophy is that in order to effectuate change at the local, state, national and global levels, all sectors must be supported by the infrastructure necessary to take action; mere information is not a catalyst of change. Possessing a mastery of how to engage others, through all modes of communications, so information results in change, I have actively cultivated positive working relationships with individuals, NGOs, government entities and the military. Like a general, I believe in getting the job done by leading from the rear, in allowing others to shine, and in never seeking applause. I believe there is always room for improvement.

  • 11. 11 Steve Krohn, Director and Owner, Icona Marketing, Dallas, Texas It is a pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Cindi Lardner. Cindi is one of the most professional colleagues that I deal with. Her credentials are unquestionably solid and her attention to detail is almost legendary. I'd like to focus on some to the positive traits of Cindi herself. Words that come to mind when I think of Cindi are passionate, patient, compassionate, understanding, focused, deliberate, professional and accomplished. I have no doubt then when you ask Cindi to get a project done, it is going to be done on time and usually better than requested. She understands the needs of the consumer and her clients very well and therefore can produce work to solve issues in a first class manner. It's without hesitation that I would refer Cindi to anyone that is looking for someone with her skill sets. Chae H. Bae, Professional Mortgage Source LLC - Managing Member Cindi Lardner is one of the most creative and educated person I've ever met. Her credentials don’t do her justice. Even though her credentials stand on their own and are some of the most impressive I’ve ever seen, they only scratch the surface of what she brings to the table. Her talents are in so many areas that I find it difficult for me to recommend her for any single area of business. I don’t want to sound disingenuous by saying she a jack of all trades and master of all, but that is the case. Anything she puts her mind to, she becomes an expert. She is an expert in social media promotions and can generate extraordinary level of engagements compared to her counterparts in the industry. If you need social media promotion, Cindi Lardner is the go to person. Cindi’s ability to create a buzz in social media is uncanny. Her level of compassion and dedication to what she does makes her stand out above most. I would recommend her for so many different areas of business. It is an honor for me to recommend her for all areas of business. William Price King, France-based American jazz. I have been active on Internet with regards to the #BringBackOurGirls campaign. One of my videos has been donated to the Organization of this campaign to incite people and particularly other artists to get involved. I had the pleasure of meeting Cynthia Lardner on Internet as she, too, was doing her share of boosting the campaign to bring these girls back to their homes. I noted how fervent Cynthia was in her motivation, her sincerity, honesty, and strength. We started communicating and I found in her a real friendship which I cherish. Her desire to do her share in making the world a better place for everyone and her positive attitudes and love for humanity touched me profoundly. With her relentless motivation and interest in helping people around the globe, in striving to make their lives better, and to enhance awareness of their situations, Cynthia would bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the UNHCR. I know she would be an excellent fit for your organization. Cynthia is an intelligent, capable, dedicated, and personable lady. She is always quick on her feet, with sensible reactions in difficult circumstances. I feel confident in saying that she is capable of

Drs Brock & Fernette Eide, Co-Founders at Dyslexic Advantage, a 501c3 Non-Profit We have known Cindi for her advocacy and eloquent writing on behalf of twice exceptional and gifted children. She has been also been a liaison for SENG, Supporting the Emotional Needs of Gifted Children, an important educational and charitable organization. Diane Paull, former colleague, now Managing Partner at Simpson & Paull, PL “Ms. Lardner is one of the smartest people with whom I worked. She is very detail oriented, picks up on ideas that others overlook and is timely and responsive. She is a pleasure to work with, friendly and professional. I highly recommend Cindi.”
  • 13. 13 Hugh (Buck) Davis, Principal at Constitutional Litigation Associates, PC Cindi is smart, fair, honest, industrious, empathetic, widely read, open-minded, pleasant, giving, easy to work with. She would make a great associate, co-counsel or counselor. She is a good researcher and writer. I highly recommend her. Steve Spreitzer, President and CEO, Michigan Roundtable for Diversity & Inclusion. Several years ago, when convening an interfaith leader advisory committee for the Michigan Roundtable, Cindi accepted our invitation, serving as a representative for the broader, metropolitan Buddhist community. Since that time, Cindi has assisted us with a range of requests, extending beyond our initial request. I have come to appreciate Cindi's depth of concern for the social welfare of the community, her passion for honoring difference and her most positive outlook. Emery Pence, Alumni Director at The Roeper School Cindi is extremely well-versed in issues of giftedness and is a passionate advocate for gifted kids. She is a fabulous resource for all interested in child development and education. Frederick M. Baker, Jr., Chairperson, Publications & Website Advisory Committee “Eleven Years of Service” When Cynthia Martinovich Lardner joined what was then called the Bar Journal Advisory Board in the spring of 1992, she became one of only eight members who are still serving on what is now called the Publications and Website Advisory Committee. Since then, she has given birth to three of her four children and nine theme issues of the Bar Journal, on subjects ranging from commercial law, the UCC, contract law, consumer law, and district court practice—all areas in which her practice background equipped her to serve as a knowledgeable editor—to children and the law, psychology and the law, and, with this, her last theme issue, alternative careers for lawyers. The themes she has edited recently reflect her evolution from in-house counsel for a large banking corporation, to private (home office) practitioner and busy mother, to one who has chosen to emerge from her attorney chrysalis, leaving behind the practice of law altogether, but not the transferable advocacy and counseling skills she acquired as a lawyer and now will put to use in her new profession as a psychologist specializing in working with the gifted. We will miss Cindy’s contributions to the committee’s work, for which we thank her, but we wish her joy, satisfaction, success, and beautiful ‘‘wings’’ in her new chosen profession.
