Program Plannings During our weekly meeting on Monday, we started dividing up, who's doing what programs during the Summer and Fall. All of
us this summer have at least ten programs that we are either leading or helping out with. I'm a little nervous starting out and programming these.
There's so many details to work out beforehand and you somewhat have to master your topic to make yourself look knowledgeable. I definitely
cannot wing anything off the cuff. I've been to enough DCNR programs to say I think I can handle it, but it is different leading than assisting a
program. Once I get into a routine though, and know what is expected of me, I think it'll get a little bit easier.

She detoured us a few times to show us the geocaching boxes near the trail that we were walking. All of the spots were camouflaged and pretty
well hidden. Our main stops on our hike though included basic tree identification and how to use a guide book for reference. Explaining the
differences between alternative and opposite leaves and other characteristics. I talked about our state tree the Eastern Hemlocks and how its a climax
tree species. It became our state tree on June 22,1931 because it was such a pivotal species for our state, using the tannic acid for tanning leathers and
for construction purposes. Then I talked a little bit about the Woolly Adelgid and how that will/is affecting Eastern Hemlocks around Pennsylvania.
Then we talked about invasive and native plants. Noting a lot of Japanese Stiltgrass along the trail. Before packing peanuts, they used the invasive to
help pack and protect porcelain from China. We discussed bittersweet vines and grape vines strangling and pulling down trees along the way. We
touched on how to identify poison ivy and jewelweed (touch–me–not). We also got a chance to see a few critters, including a black rat snake, a female
common yellowthroat, deer, and a few chipmunks along the way.
Bear Program
Lastly, I got to help out with a black bear program at Whitehall Library. This program is an outreach program part of their summer reading curriculum.
Twenty five kids showed up to hear and learn about the only bear in Pennsylvania.

I have embarked upon an MBA at the Robert Kennedy College (in association with University of Cumbria) to deepen my academic knowledge of the
business world. I hope to emerge from my schooling better able to generate creative organizational solutions and to ground my decision–making in
managerial theory. After taking Power Learning for Managers, I will begin the first four online modules in Organizational Behaviour, Financial
Management, Marketing Management, and Money Management. The online nature of these classes will enable me to balance my current work
duties with my coursework. By using my mornings, lunch breaks, evenings and weekends for reading and study purposes I will be able to keep up
with my class work. Every week I will create a study and work schedule for myself, ranking my duties according to priority.
After gaining a solid foundation in my online classes, I will next be able to proceed to the residential requirement in Leadership and Sustainability. I

In my previous year's school report, I did an exceptional job in Maths, English, Science, PLP (Personal Learning Program), Humanities and P.E by
achieving A's and B's. I believe I did an excellent job in these subjects because my attitude towards learning was brilliant, for example I concentrated

Intro: The necessity to combine the Utah Symphony and the Opera is based on the ever changing environment that supports the arts community. There
have been seismic changes in the economic landscape throughout the entire country over the past few years. These changes have created shortfalls and

The symphony is less influenced by the surrounding environment. By looking at the CVF we see that the symphony takes its direction in a flexible
and discretionary manner. As we discussed early this fact is represented that the employees (musicians) are empowered to make decisions about the
operations of the symphony. In looking at how the Opera fits into the CVF we see that they have characteristics that are consistent with a Market
Culture. The Opera unlike the symphony is limited to 3 to 5 performances a year. This sets the stage for a fundamental difference in the two
organizations. The Opera has a permanent staff of 23 relying on contract employees to fill the required spots for the chosen performances. In a market
culture there is a concentration of an external focus and differentiation. The Opera and Anne Ewers concentrates on developing outside relationships to
gain funding for the Opera. In addition a market culture has to respond to changes in the market. The Opera has to fill the needs and requests of the
patrons that attend their performances. The Opera is constantly competing to get the best talent and performers to showcase at the few performances

good experience, knowledgable and who are willing to take risks to deliver best result they can to the company, but since they just too much focus to

persons are necessary to be assigned to core projects to get the projects done that can help to turn around/improve the business. The other type is
those persons only good at talking but not at achieving results, they are either only good at making good relationship with their supervisors, or less
