This study examined the effects of plyometric training on coordination, strength, and disability in overhead throw athletes with partial rotator cuff tears. 30 male athletes were divided into two groups: group 1 had injuries 1.5 years prior, group 2 had injuries 3 months prior. Both groups underwent 3 weeks of plyometric training. Group 1 training involved medicine balls and plyometric pushups, group 2 used medicine balls and dynamic pushups. Post-training, both groups significantly improved in coordination, subscapularis strength, and supraspinatus strength.
