are
a
team
of
researchers
and
students
from
Harvard
University,
Kennedy
School
of
Government
that
will
be
visiting
Myanmar
from
January
7th
to
January
18th,
2012
for
a
field
research
mission.
Supported
by
the
Mossavar-‐Rahmani
Center
for
Business
and
Government
and
the
Ash
Center
for
Democratic
Governance
at
Harvard
Kennedy
School
of
Government,
our
team
is
engaged
in
providing
policy
advice
to
the
Asian
Development
Bank.
Our
research
approach
differs
from
most
traditional
academic
research.
We
aim
at
providing
a
set
of
hands-‐on
policy
advice
and
actionable
recommendations
to
our
clients.
Our
research
interests
and
expertise
includes
international
investments,
development
economics,
infrastructure
development,
project
financing
and
public-‐private
partnerships.
A
panel
of
world-‐renowned
faculty
advisers
from
across
Harvard
University
is
advising
our
policy
work.
During
our
visit
in
Myanmar
and
Thailand
this
January
we
will
discuss
with
stakeholders
within
the
Government,
Business,
NGOs
and
International
community
a
series
of
research
questions
related
to
foreign
direct
investments,
economic
development
and
international
finance
in
Myanmar.

and
