In today’s time, people are very easy to stereotype one another, not based on personality
or actually finding the time to get to know someone, but we are swift to judge an individual
based off of their physical appearance. My personal take on life is that each individual was
created equally, yet uniquely and everyone has a purpose. I have learned that we live in an
extremely diverse country and that what I may think is the norm may be the complete opposite in
someone else’s life. These differences amongst individuals are based off the different ways we
were raised ranging from our cultural and religious faith as well as our family beliefs and life
experiences. I think that if everyone was the same and liked all of the same things it would be a
boring world.
First, I believe that faith is a key part of life. I am a Christian and I am firm in my beliefs.
I feel that we do not have to all believe the same but we should all believe in something that will
take us to a high place in life. Secondly, I believe that it is perfectly okay to mix and match
patterns when putting together an outfit. Be different and be remembered. Thirdly, I believe an
outfit is not complete without a great lippie! I am a lipstick fanatic and it is just the icing on the
cake. I believe that everyone should wear their hair as they please. Personally, I like to keep
people wondering and I change my hair every month according to how I feel, whether it’s a
different cut, color, or style. I also believe that horoscopes are fun to read every day but some
people are very overboard thinking that a daily horoscope will help or transform their life. I
believe every outfit needs a statement piece, whether it is a watch, a chunky necklace, or a bag.
I believe that taking care of your skin when you’re young will benefit you in the future. I plan to
have flawless skin when I’m 80 years old. Although I love a cute outfit, bags, and shoes, I feel
that being too materialistic goes against my Christian faith and is very lustful. I believe that
family and friends are important in life because they are there to lean on through the good and
the bad and you should cherish and respect them. Lastly, I believe that you only live once so do
things and accomplish goals in life. Be responsible but live in the moments because you only
have one life so live it!
