Definition of Business
Fees are charged as a percentage of first year’s total gross salary
Where the position includes a company vehicle, the amount of £3000 will be added to the total
gross salary
Payment of Fees
All fees are invoiced on the date of appointment and are payable within 30 days of
commencement of employment
All charges are subject to VAT at 20%
COREcruitment reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at 2% above the
National Bank of England base rate per month or part thereof
Other Conditions
 While COREcruitment endeavors to ensure the suitability of candidates submitted, clients should
satisfy themselves as to a candidates qualifications, efficiency and integrity
COREcruitment will endeavor to request a minimum of two references per candidate; we cannot
guarantee that references have been returned. We are also unable to take references from a
candidate’s current employer
These fee’s become payable when an applicant introduced by COREcruitment commences
employment or enters into a contractual agreement with a client or a third party, all third party
interviews must be arranged by COREcruitment

 Dedicated Account Manager for the duration of the project (min 3 months) / duration of

 ‘Recruitment’ hot lines set up nationally with local phone numbers to increase interest
 Email accounts and social media set up to attract candidates 
 COREcruitment can use Branded and non branded advertising for all roles 
 COREcruitment candidate database 305,000 candidates (internal)
 Social Media recruiting – team of two e-marketing and social media specialists working 
on the project
 Screening candidates
 Set up interviews with candidates 
 Email confirmations and re-confirm interviews before
 Collect interview feedback and liaise with operations on feedback / references / offers
 Supply Student.com HR team with candidate details to process offer letters and on-
boarding
Consultant
 1 / 2 days a week in Student.com locations (optional)
 2 /3 days in CORE office
 1 day on the road / meeting candidates / open days (optional)
 Supported by 3 management and 2 chef consultants in the office
 Daily spreadsheet ‘tracker’ sent with updates on process, problem vacancies and 
interviews to key stakeholders in business
 
The consultants would be COREcruiment employees and would not be able to work with or
be employed by Student.com for a 12 month period after their employment with 
COREcruitment. 
 
Consultant time and advertising costs £12,000 per month
Cost per hire £3000.00 senior management hire / £2000.00 junior hire (these costs are set on
briefing). 
Mapping
 
Our standard fee for mapping is 25% on annual package (where 
relocation is involved). 
One quarter of fees to be paid upfront and the remainder on 
start date of each candidate placed in the
business. 
All candidates identified through our mapping process much be 
approached via COREcruitment.
 
Attached are examples of senior management roles we have 
taken this approach with. 
Previous assignments with this process include: Tesco, Asda, 
London Restaurant Groups. 
We can collect (within reason) competitor information as well as 
information on current salaries, packages and clients. 
Updated lists are sent over weekly to show progress.

Amma Owusu-Afriyie
Retail Recruitment
Amma joined recently joined COREcruitment having previously
worked as a specialist HR Recruitment Consultant. Amma
specialises primarily in HR positions ranging from HR Director /
Head of HR through to HR Manager / Business Partner to HR
Advisor level within retail / hospitality.
Gemma Eames
Key Account Manager (property)
Gemma joined COREcruitment in July 2013, having previously
worked as a Recruitment Manager at a charity agency. Gemma
provides a range of facility management services to help our
clients find the support they need for any of their business
challenges. Gemma has done a lot of recruitment within bars,
pubs, restaurants and hotels and specialises in placing
Maintenance Managers, Property Managers and Acquisitions
Managers.

IT Recruitment
Suj provides a range of FM I.T. services to help organisations
find the support they need for their business challenges. Suj has
been with CORE for over four years now and has grown the FM
and IT division and is now the team leader of this division.

Referrals
Check in office for top applicant referrals. We have a target at COREcruitment that
40% of our placed candidates will come via referrals and recommendations – good
people tend to know good people. We actively incentivise candidates to put us in
touch with their friends / colleagues and contacts to find a higher number of ‘passive
job seekers’
Screening
1.The next stage of our process is by initially screening a candidate by conducting a
non-vacancy specific telephone conversation. This is because the candidates we
register are matched on what they want to do – rather than what they apply for – this
way we can find a much better long-term fit.
1.Upon identifying the candidate’s suitability we then conduct a second telephone /
Skype / face to face interview which is more specific to the job at hand. During this
interview not only do we present our client in the best possible light but we feel it is
important to properly brief the candidates on the vacancy and company.
Advertising
While our system is our first port of call, we will also advertise the role on over 25
different sites as well as post it all over our social media sites. All adverts will be
posted with a high level of confidentially as will be the first response. For bulk
campaigns we can conduct joint branded adverts.
Searching
As mentioned, our system is a first port of call as we have a great amount of
outstanding candidates available. COREcruitment also has access to many different
external sites that we use to search for candidates.
Searching
COREcruitment will actively target candidates from competitor / target businesses.
We use a variety of techniques to make these approaches and only mention a client
name when a sufficent level of relationship and trust are established.
COREcruitment’s Unique Services
CORE on the road
One of our popular methods of attracting candidates is organising an open days and drinks evenings.
These are a great opportunity for passive job seekers to interact discreetly without registering on job
boards or applying online. We have had success specifically where potential employers have covertly
attended events to meet candidates in a less formal setting.
Referral Partnership
COREcruitment offers a referral free as we believe good people tend to know good people.
COREcruitment offers a partnership with clients. Therefore, we could advertise a referral scheme on our
website.
Psychometrics
We also have the ability to use our in house system of psychometric testing. We have found this
especially useful as part of the recruitment process to double check that a candidate has the appropriate
ability levels to be successful in a role.
Networks
Each consultant at COREcruitment has a niche area that they work in, and within this niche area they are
part of many different network groups. Consultants use these network groups to their advantage. As we’ve
mentioned, referrals are a big part of our candidate attraction and good people know good people.
Consultants make a conscious effort to attend any relevant networking events, so when we say they know
the industry inside out - they really do!
Salary Benchmarks
COREcruitment has put together a salary benchmark that is updated regularly and is available to all
clients. This document gives our clients a better understanding of the current market and the average
salaries being offered. This is determined by seniority of the role, the location and the industry.

We have a target at COREcruitment that 40% of our placed candidates will come via referrals and recommendations – good people tend to know good people. We actively incentivise candidates to put us in touch with their friends / colleagues and contacts to find a higher number of ‘passive job seekers’ Screening 1.The next stage of our process is by initially screening a candidate by conducting a non-vacancy specific telephone conversation. This is because the candidates we register are matched on what they want to do – rather than what they apply for – this way we can find a much better long-term fit. 1.Upon identifying the candidate’s suitability we then conduct a second telephone / Skype / face to face interview which is more specific to the job at hand. During this interview not only do we present our client in the best possible light but we feel it is important to properly brief the candidates on the vacancy and company. Advertising While our system is our first port of call, we will also advertise the role on over 25 different sites as well as post it all over our social media sites. All adverts will be posted with a high level of confidentially as will be the first response. For bulk campaigns we can conduct joint branded adverts. Searching As mentioned, our system is a first port of call as we have a great amount of outstanding candidates available. COREcruitment also has access to many different external sites that we use to search for candidates. Searching COREcruitment will actively target candidates from competitor / target businesses. We use a variety of techniques to make these approaches and only mention a client name when a sufficent level of relationship and trust are established.
