1. YEE DUCK FARM
During the years I spent in the Mid-West I was introduced to sporting clays, bird
hunting and water fowling. A good friend invited me to the annual Duck Unlimited Banquet
in Kansas City, Missouri. My eyes were opened to a new world of an organization and
individuals not merely interested in water fowling. The art exhibits were exquisite. Most
interesting to me was the organization and members’ dedication to conservation.
Ducks Unlimited Hawaii is in partnership with Kauai Public Land Trust, Kilauea Point
Natural History Association, Kauai FWS Volunteer Program, Pacific Coast Joint Venture for
restore 62 wetland acres within Hanalei and Hule`ia NWR.
Yee Duck Farm’s primary focus is the preservation, protection and strengthening of the
biodiversity of the Kaloa Maoli , The Hawaiian Duck.
