Toolrunner Ltd specializes in supplying a range of products and services to
Machine Shops in Scotland and the International Oil Industry.
As a family run business founded in 1999, we have built our reputation and

Cutting Tools
Toolrunner stock a comprehensive range of high speed steel and solid
carbide cutting tools; Drills, Taps & Dies, End Mills, Slotdrills & Bandsaw
Blades etc. Our preferred brands are: Dormer, OSG, Guhring, Presto,
Osborne, Clarkson, Threadwise, Europa, Simonds & Starret.
Measuring Tools (Metrology)
Measuring equipment from major brands: Mitutoyo, Starrett, Bowers and
Moore & Wright.

3. Hand & Power Tools
We stock a comprehensive range of engineers hand tools and electric/air
power tools from all leading brands.
Indexable Carbide Tooling
We are the appointed distributors & stockists for leading indexable carbide
tooling brands; Seco, Mitsubishi, Sumitomo, Walter & Kennametal, and
offer full technical support.
Machine Tools & Machine Tool Maintenance
Our Machine Tool sales department can source new & used machines for
metal turning, milling, drilling, grinding & sawing. In addition Toolrunner offer a
“Machine tool repair, maintenance and installation service”. Our engineers are
based locally to respond quickly to breakdowns, saving customers downtime
and excessive travelling expense. We strongly advocate preventative
maintenance and are always keen to quote tailored programmes to alleviate
costly breakdowns.

4. Machine Shop
We offer a fast turnaround jobbing machine shop service. We have the
capabilities to turn, mill, drill, grind and saw.
Special Tools
Due to the specialized nature of products required in the Global Oil & Gas
Industry. Toolrunner have responded to these niche requirements and
developed products within the industry and in particular the Stabilizer
Manufacture & Valve Repair sector.
Stabilizer Calipers
Toolrunner have for a number of years, been involved in the manufacture and
supply of a range of Adjustable Stabilizer Calipers; a versatile measuring
device used for measuring wear on 3 & 5 blade Oilfield Stabilizers to an
accuracy of 1/16”. This is now the preferred method and regarded as the
industry standard.

5. Ball Trammels & Hub Gauges
Ball trammels are for measuring flange ring seal grooves i.e. RTJ’s (Ring
Type Joints)
A Hub Gauge is a modified Vernier Caliper; it is used to measure “Grayloc”
type hubs. These can be made to customer’s specifications, for example we
have made a 24” Digital version.
Service
We have a comprehensive stock inventory and offer a free same or next day
delivery service in Aberdeen.
