1. Chuck Brooks
Charles (Chuck) Brooks has senior executive management experience in public & private
companies and with the federal government. He served as the first Director of Legislative
Affairs for the Science & Technology Directorate within the Department of Homeland
Security, where he was responsible for advocacy for the Directorate with Capitol Hill.
Chuck wasan Adjunct Faculty Member at Johns Hopkins University (SAIS).He also spent
6 years on Capitol Hill as a Senior Advisor to Senator Arlen Specter where he covered
national security, defense, foreign affairs, and business & technology issues. In his years
of business and legislative experiences, Chuck also served as President of Brooks
Consulting International, a government relations, investment banking, and public affairs
firm. He has an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Chicago, a
certificate in International Law for the Hague academy of International Law, and a B.A.
in political Science from DePauw University.
