RELEVANT PROJECTS
● (In Progress) Developing a robot that can be controlled by brain waves using a commercially available 08/15 - present
Electroencephalography (EEG) device. The secondary objective is to create a tool that can assist in the treatment
of Attention Deficit Disorder and teach a user the proper methods for focusing.
● (Internship) Single-handedly created a catalog of frequently requested reports in Microsoft Sharepoint; 05/15 - 08/15
Designed a custom reusable web app that uses a combination of Javascript, ASP.NET, HTML, and inline
CSS to achieve an auto-updating “key what you know” search function for the catalog.
● Independently engineered a desktop sized emotionally responsive robot with expressive LED eyes and 01/15 - 05/15
servo-powered eyebrows. Uses bluetooth and a custom app I wrote as a controller. 3D printed parts
designed in Inventor.
● Worked with partner to interface with a Nao robot using python and the “Naopy” API. Calculated complex 01/15 - 05/15
forward and inverse kinematics for each of the robot’s joints, created a look-up table of joint angles
needed to perform fighting moves and programmed the robot to choose moves to perform in succession.
● Spearheaded a group with two partners to design the transistor-level layout of an Application Specific 10/14 - 12/14
Integrated Circuit (ASIC) in Cadence Virtuoso that could be interfaced with off-the-shelf components to
build a digital thermometer. (See the thumbnail at the top of the page)
