against the school district and
inherently distrusts teachers.

4. There is a direct correlation between the
wealth of the school district and the
quality of its special education
programs.

5. Each special needs child receives
an Individualized Education
Program put together by an IEP
Team…

7. Special education students are still
required to take the exit exam in
order to graduate.

8. There is currently no program designed for
children with learning disabilities leaving
them with the same classroom options as
children with severe disabilities like Down’s
Syndrome.

9. But with reforms to current special
education legislation…we can fix
our special education system.
