SELECT CLIENT WORK
A MULTI-NATIONAL INSURANCE BROKERAGE COMPANY
Pattern served as technical lead and primary developer for the access management system. This
system was used to manage the accounts for the client’s 17,000+ employees in over 400 offices in
100 countries across multiple languages.
A MOBILE ANALYTICS COMPANY
WITH AN INSTALL BASE OF 1.5+ BILLION DEVICES
Pattern was brought in to work on petabyte-sized streaming data sets for a major feature being
launched within two months. In addition, follow on work included working with senior engineering
talent within the organization to performance-optimize integration points between large data sets
using Scala, Akka, and Hadoop/Spark.
A MULTI-NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION TECHNOLOGY COMPANY
Pattern was tasked with an initial assessment of the company’s infrastructure capabilities. Following
that assessment, an OpenStack private cloud built on Open Compute Project hardware was
constructed and deployed across multiple data centers. Managed services were provided for
environment maintenance and improvements, as well as additional SysOps duties on a continuing
basis.
A GLOBAL MANUFACTURING COMPANY
Pattern worked to integrate the company’s HR system with other sensitive systems used globally.
This large integration allowed the client to analyze, secure, and manage who has access to which
systems across all 12,000 employees.
