5. Show Jumping The aim of show jumping is to clear a course of jumps within a time limit. Show jumping obstacles include verticals, spreads, combinations. The higher the level you compete at the tighter the turns will become, and distances harder to ride. Show jumping requires scope, boldness, power, accuracy and speed.
6. Dressage The aim of dressage is to develop and show the horse’s natural athletic agility and willingness. Riders perform tests and show different movements inside an arena. They are judged on each movement with a score of 0-10. The arenas are marked with letters to show the rider where to preform the next movement.
