Save time, effort and be stress free this holiday!
Cook your entire meal from start to finish in a brick oven –
here’s a helpful timeline on how to plan it:
1 ½ Hours Before Guests Arrive
Fire up wood-burning brick oven to temp needed to make appetizers
Take thawed or fresh bird out of the fridge and bring to room temp
Make appetizer recipe(s) up to the point of baking
15 Minutes Before Guests Arrive
Prepare turkey for cooking per recipe directions
Fire up the good life!
When Guests Arrive
Cook appetizer(s) – average cook time: 3-10 minutes/dish
Bring oven temperature to 350-400 degrees for turkey if needed
Place turkey in oven when ready for approximately 2 hours
Finish Meal Preparation
Remove turkey when done, cover with foil and let sit before carving.
Stoke fire to temperature needed for side dishes – about 3-5 minutes
Cook two side dishes simultaneously in oven – about 5-10 minutes
Warm a third premade side dish or gravy near front of oven, if desired
