Focused, surgical, and more personal marketing through social media.
30,000 employees with an average of 850 contacts, 24 million people reached.
Catchy, hip, concentrated clips/blasts that speak more to than just price. (Better just got Great!)
News geared towards consumer rather than the industry.
Enabling employees to Engage
Here’s an example of a clip that would be uploaded to social media that focuses on our network performance. The media clips can be written messages like this example and we also envision marketing team creating hip and catchy 15 second video ads. The written and video ad would state for the customer to bring the ad into the store for an added incentive to join the Sprint Network.

Good to have marketing messages to be both written and video to change it up for our target audience.
The app also provides a method for Sprint and consumer users to upload positive speed/download experiences to the Living Coverage Map. A map that show a bubble popping up when a user reports a great network experience such as super-fast download speeds (Speedtest.net)
Thresholds will be set so that only speeds over “X” will be reported. Anyone going to Sprint.com or Sprint’s Facebook page will see this map with bubbles popping up all over of actual users experiencing great network performance.
A more effective way where potential customers will get feedback and “reviews” that the network is great rather than from companies like Root Metrics and Nielson which gears more to industry insiders.
Our message of a low cost provider has been effective in getting new customers who are truly looking for price cuts but does nothing to promote our network
The listening tours has proved that network performance is the most important aspect when choosing a provider. They don’t care if they can save money if the phone won’t perform.
We need to continue the momentum of Marcelo’s listening tour findings and use our Sprint employees through the Engage app of social networking to continue to get the Sprint message out about our network improvements .
