WILDFIRES ripped
through California yes-
terday forcing celebs
Kim Kardashian and
Kanye West to flee
their mansions.
The blaze burned
around 500 acres in
Calabasas, a rich area
popular with A-list stars.
It threatened about
3,000 homes and at least
5,000 people were evacu-
ated north of Los Angeles.
Rapper Kanye, 38, and
Kim, 35, got out on Friday
before Saturday’s manda-
tory evacuation.
Actress Katie Holmes,
37, also had to flee her
six-bedroom property in
the same area as Kim’s
sisters Khloe, 31, and
Kourtney, 37.
Another of their
siblings, Kylie Jenner, 18,
posted videos to Snapchat
showing black smoke
billowing over her house.
The fire also raged
dangerously close to the
homes of reality TV star
Jessica Simpson, 35, and
singer Mariah Carey, 46.
The inferno is believed
to have been sparked dur-
ing a heatwave after a
vehicle hit a utility pole
that downed power lines.

MUSIC legend Sir Tom Jones broke
down as he spoke about late wife Linda
for the first time publicly yesterday.
The 75-year-old wept as he recalled finding
out his wife of 59 years was dying of cancer.
In an interview, the Delilah singer said recovering
from her death was “the hardest thing I’ve ever done
in my life”. He said: “I was in the Philippines, that
was when I got the call,
that it was terminal. I
had to stop. So I flew
back to LA and she had
a week left, in hospital.”
They married at just 16,
when Linda was preg-
nant with their only child
Mark, and spent their
lives together despite Sir
Tom’s reputation as a
womaniser.
The star had affairs
with women includ-
ing The Supremes’
Mary Wilson, the
1973 Miss World
Marjorie Wallace,
and model Kath-
erine Berkery,
