When you think of fitness instructors you usuallyenvision the words “motivational” and “inspiring”. Those
who know Erin Goodman all mention the same two words: “life-changer”.
Erin Goodman is known across the Central New York area for her BeachbodyLive Fitness Classes. Her
work of helping people extends across social media and into the homes of literallyhundreds of people. A
BeachbodyLive Class consists of weeklygroup fitness classes that include moves from programs such as
Insanity, P90x, Turbokick, and PiYo. These at home workouts consist of monthlyworkout guides ranging
between intense cardio from Insanity, strength training in P90x, cardio kickboxing from Turbokick, or low
impact yoga from PiYo.
Leslie Stalker, a certified Insanityand P90xinstructor and Goodman’s coworker, says that working with
Goodman, “has been a breath of fresh air and it is apparent that she puts her heart and soul into everything
she does.”
Originallyfrom Rome, NY, Goodman says growing up she was unhealthyand struggled with her weight. At
15 years old she started BillyBanks Taebo and eventually
dabbled at the gym until introduced to Turbojam. She says she quicklydeveloped an unhealthyaddiction
and went from being overweight at 225 lbs to being 135 lbs and anorexic. She has experienced both ends of
the scale and has used these experiences to guide her into what she does today.
Now Goodman is a certified personal trainer/group instructor and a master trainer for BeachbodyLive at her
gym, Results Matter. “Results Matter means results are your onlyoption, no excuses, you have to put
yourself first, especiallyyour health,” she says. As the creator of Team Results Matter and three time elite
coach, she has made a name for herself in the world of a rapidlygrowing companycalled Beachbody.
“Three time elite” means that her team has ascended into the top 200 out of 400,000 coaches within the
company.

In 2011 Goodman left her job as a corrections officer at a top sex

learned that through Beachbodyshe is able to make bigger change
than just in her local community. In just a few years she has helped
hundreds in the CNYarea and abroad. She did this bynot only
creating healthier lifestyles, but also bygiving them the tools and
helping them guide themselves into their own successful
businesses.
StaceyTracy, certified Turbo Kick and Cize instructor at Results Matter
says, “Working alongside Goodman is empowering. We fuel off of
each other’s energy. She’s a powerhouse and it makes one feel as if
theycan soar high.” Tracysaid she has been with Goodman since
the beginning, following her from gym to gym until Goodman opened
up her own.
Along with making a difference in individuals’ lives, Goodman and her
associates have also had an impact on their local community. Some
of the fundraisers Goodman regularlyparticipates in are Breast Cancer Awareness and The Ride for
Missing Children. Goodman also helps local families in need. The Turbokick fundraiser helped the familyof
a local man who recentlysuffered a stroke. The fundraiser was successful and helped the familycope with
the financial burdens this situation placed upon them. Goodman also donates gift baskets to a local walk for
autism awareness.
Co-host of the “Cize for a Cure” fundraiser was Michele Sandock, a breast cancer survivor. Michele

of doing,” Michelle said. “She stays right bytheir side to keep them on track and to remain successful.”
Avarietyof people at the gym all agree Goodman has created a place for a “fit-family.” For those who use
this local gym, it is a place theyfeel comfortable calling “home”. Her success is more than just personal; it
has extended into the communityand brought its members together.
