The annual National Night Out event was held Tuesday, Aug. 4 in
Breckenridge, Minnesota, and brought together the Twin Towns
community with area law enforcement agencies for food, fun
and activities. Breckenridge Police Department hosted the
event, which featured a rock climbing wall, pony rides, in-
flatable bounce house attractions, bicycle and bike helmet
giveaways, games and rides on a Breckenridge fire truck.
The U.S. Marine Corps had a vehicle and equipment
on display along with Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office
and ASI Ambulance. The family-friendly event was a
success in great part because of the volunteers who
participated.
