Workshop title: Design & Delivery of Patient-Centric Healthcare Models
Workshop Objectives
This workshop focuses on the design and delivery of a patient-centric healthcare models. Regulatory
changes in the United States and medical reimbursement changes mandate hospitals to develop an
integrated patient-centric delivery models. The need for such models are forcing several healthcare
organizations to invest in initiatives to integrate across different functions such as physicians, nurses, IT
professionals and case managers in hospitals. In this workshop, the participants will explore some of the
challenges and benefits of such customer-centric approach to healthcare delivery. The participants will
explore the role of operational design, leadership and innovation in creating patient-centric healthcare
models. We will look closely at some of these challenges using real time initiative which is going on at
the Wexner Medical Center. Finally, we will also discuss how some of these findings can be applied to
other professional settings such as IT, legal and consulting firms.
The targeted audience for this workshop would be any healthcare professional as well as students from
