Aiming to actively promote outstanding .hk websites
and overcome the limitation of recognising only ten top-
ranking winners, HKIRC is introducing the "Best .hk
Website Awards" (the Awards), formerly known as the
"Top10 .hk Website Competition". The Awards allow
more outstanding .hk websites in different sectors to be
awarded, recognising the remarkable achievements of all
winners in the local Internet community.
The Awards are divided into four streams covering
both the private and public sectors, allowing a platform
for businesses, organisations, the Government and
local entities to share their best practices for .hk website
development. The outstanding websites serve as
examples for promoting the proper use of Internet and
related technologies, showing their contribution and effort
in achieving service excellence and meeting business and
social needs via the Internet.
This year, in response to the trend of increased
public participation, a new "Most Liked .hk Website"
award has been created. This serves as a special
mention for the .hk website that receives the most votes
cast online. In addition, to appreciate the Gold winners
who have consistently achieved the best results for three
consecutive years, "The Most Honorable Award" will
be given. Security features will be covered in the initial
screening process to promote a safe Internet environment.
The Awards are divided into four website award
streams, including“Commercial", "Non-commercial",
"Government Departments" and "LegCo Members". The
remarkable achievements of the Award winners will be
highly recognised across the local community.

旨在不同的獎項組別中表揚更多優秀網站、突破
於前名為「香港十大 .hk 網站競選」的十個獎項規
範，令得獎者的卓越成就在本地互聯網社群中備
受賞識。
此獎項設有由私營及公營機構組成的四大組
別，並透過一個互動平台表彰優勝網站的得獎者努
力和貢獻。優秀 .hk 網站將會成為大家學習典範，
讓企業、機構、政府部門及香港公司等互相學習，
從而分享如何善用互聯網及科技應用建立優秀網
站，提供卓越服務和滿足企業及客群的需要。
今年，為迎合全民參與的潮流，我們更設立
了「最喜愛網站獎」，以表揚獲最高網上票數的
優秀 .hk 網站。此外，為鼓勵各界持續推動優秀
網站及表揚連續三年的金獎得獎者，我們會頒發
「最高榮譽獎」殊榮。同時，我們亦會在網站篩
選過程中設有網站保安元素，務求進一步促進互
聯網安全。

The Awards are divided into four streams, including
Commercial, Non-commercial (such as NGOs and
schools), Government Departments and LegCo
Members. The websites* of Government Departments
appearing on HKSAR Government Organization Chart
and the websites* of LegCo Members appearing on
the LegCo Members' Contact Directory are automatically
included at the call-for-entry stage. Interested companies
and parties with websites using .hk domain names are
welcome to join. The previous awardees are also allowed
to enter the Awards again.

Remarks:
1. Staff members of HKIRC, HKIRC Board members, Consultative and Advisory Panel; HKIRC-accredited registrars,
service partners, sponsors, supporting organisations and partners, judges, judging criteria advisory panel, vendors and
related affiliates who are involved are not eligible to enter the Awards.
2. Non-commercial website category means NGOs, eligible schools and charitable organisations, etc. HKIRC reserves
the rights to reallocate a submission to the most appropriate category if needed.
3. The winning entries of Gold/ Silver/ Bronze award in the previous years of the previous Competition are allowed to enter
the Awards again. However, they have to state the significant changes or enhancements for the entries this year.
4. Winner(s) who receives the awards of Gold and The Most Honorable Award in the same year will not be eligible for the
entry of the Awards years ahead.
5. During the course of evaluation, assessors may require further information related to the entrant's website. The entrants
will be notified in advance if such request is required. Any information provided by the entrant will be treated as
confidential.
6. HKIRC reserves the right to make the final decision on any matters about the Awards program.

1. 此獎項並不接受以下人士或機構參加︰ HKIRC 員工、董事局成員、諮詢委員會成員 ; 註冊服務商、合作夥伴、贊助商、支
持機構及提供是次活動相關服務的供應商 ; 評判團、評審基準顧問及相關人士。
2. 「非商業」組別包括非牟利組織、慈善團體及合資格的非牟利學校等。HKIRC 保留權利更改參賽網站至更合適的獎項類別。
3. 歷屆「香港十大 .hk 網站競選」的金、銀、銅得獎網站可再度參與「最佳 .hk 網站獎」，然而今年的參賽者需列明參賽網站
的顯著改變及新元素。
4. 獲頒予「最高榮譽獎」的得獎者將不得再參與競逐來年的獎項。
5. 評審期間，評審人員或會向參賽者就有關網站索取更多資料。若有這方面的需要，參賽者將先獲得通知；而所提供的資料
將獲保密處理。
6. HKIRC 保留就有關獎項計劃的任何事宜作最後決定的權利。
