• Used canoes to remove hard-to-reach
rubbish
• Removed over 700 bags of rubbish plus bulky
items like sofas, trolleys and motorcycles
• Carried out “Balsam Bashes”
• Surveyed for aquatic invertebrates
• Raised awareness of pollution and
misconnections

• If your water quality sampling shows the following results,
please double-check the results
• pH below 6 or above 8
• Ammonia above 3.0
• A change in turbidity not thought to be related
to weather e.g. following rainfall, warm
temperatures
• A temperature higher than 20°C
• If still the same, please report this to your Environment
Agency
