1. • Annotations can be added for any item where the Annotations link
appears. Ownership of an item does not limit the ability to create an
annotation on it.
• Submitting a record is the process by which you sign-off a workflow-
enabled form and send it to the next step on its workflow route.
• Submitting a record can only be performed by the current owner of the
workflow record or an administrator.

2. Locate Menu Item
2The Queue link on the Navigator Bar provides one-click access to user’s work queue. Alternate access is
available via the Navigator Menu.

3. Locate Record and Link
3The icon to the left of the record number is the link to the record (top screen).

4. Add Annotation to Record
4Annotations remain part of the record and can be viewed via the Annotations Link located in the Additional Data
section of the workflow record.

5. Submit Record to Next Step
Annotation added and displayed; record is ready to submit to next step. 5

Upon selecting the Process Step, the Submit tab displays. 6
