There are several research projects being developed around the iPad:
# iSecurePP: an ultra secure environment for ipad and iPhones to guard against data stolen if your device goes missing
# MediPad: a B2B application for doctors to ensure right information available when patient being treated, via a Tablet computer
# iFloorNav: a virtual tour application enabling people to easily navigate buildings from their ipad, linked to Google-Street view.
# iPad@home: control of your home lighting and multimedia equipt without the need for re-wiring.
All these projects are under-development and would welcome interest from partners and/or investors in order to commercialize them.

2. iSecurePP
An ultra secure environment for iPad + iPhone.
Your data is securely stored
on one or both devices as
long as they are close to each
other
if one device is stolen (or both) ...
Your secured data and apps
are removed.
3. iSecurePP
• Optional security server for device provisioning and on-
site & remote management.
• A solution if you cannot afford to loose your confidential data.

• WiFi based indoor positioning
still looking for partners
7. iPad@Home
Stéphane Pierroz is an experienced engineer at the EIA-
FR. He supervises, collaborates, or consults on all
iPhone/iPad related projects in our school of engineering.
Together with Damien Vionnet, he is also building a
Master HES level course on iPhone & Android
programming.
8. iPad@Home
• Domotic and multimedia control
from your iPad
