My Personal Worldview
In my personal opinion, a worldview consists of the sum total of an individual's perspectives on the relationships between the sphere of their own
personal experiences and the sphere of the variables of the world which lie outside their own control. A worldview could be defined as an ideology
or religion in a narrow sense, but it encompasses more aspects of a person's relationships to the outside world than a simple ideological path. My
personal worldview is that the universe is very large and very confusing. I am not partial to any explanation for our existence here on the earth, but I do
not hold any of these viewpoints to be superior or inferior to one another. I am agnostic, but I do not discount Christianity or creationism as 'idiotic'.

My Personal Worldview Paper
My personal worldview explains the way I view and live life through the assumptions and beliefs I hold in response to the world around me. I
believe I was created for a specific reason and purpose. What do I believe to be true? I believe that God exists and that he is the creator of
everything that exists. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, John 1:1" (NIV). This is biblical proof
that God exists. The verse that explains that God has always existed is, "Revelation 22:13, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the
Beginning and the End" (NIV). God has been alive forever, since before my start and before the start of everything I know. God is the originator of
creation itself....show more content...
I must find my calling if I am to truly live my life to the fullest and to live out God's plan for my life. God is the only one who can help me find my
purpose. He has had a plan for my life long before I was even born and that God has a purpose for me that no one else could fulfill. "For I know the
plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11" (NIV).
This means that no matter what I do as long as I am in accordance with God's will, everything will turn out for the best in the end. God has promised
to give me hope and a future and to bless my life. "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in
advance for us to do, Ephesians 2:10" (NIV). With this knowledge I know that God has created me exactly the way I should be and that he has given
me talents and skills enough to do all he asks of me to do. I was created in God's image, created with God's character of love, mercy, grace and
righteousness. According to AllAboutWorldviews.com, Christians believe "God has revealed Himself to people in a general way through creation
and in a special (personal) way evidenced by His divine words and acts contained in the Bible and especially in the person of Jesus Christ" (2002, p.1).
Through the Bible I can see specific evidence of what God's character looks like,

The three components that make up my worldview are God, knowledge and ethics
because they shape my thoughts, experiences, education and life decisions. I have
picked these three components because it is not easy to get through life without God
guiding us through our lives with our everyday decisions. The knowledge is important
because God has put us here to teach and help others and the more I know about what I
am doing and with the experience it is easier to help others. I try to follow the ethics that
he has put out there for us and it helps keep me on track to follow what is right and
wrong and to conduct myself in the appropriate way.

With all the knowledge
that God has allowed me to learn and retain he has given me great opportunity and
experiences. With all the knowledge I was able to obtain has taught me to be a
independent person and able to do things I never thought I would be able to do or have to
do. I love being independent, which has come in handy since my husband got hurt at
work and is limited to what he can and can not do. I can thank my parents for making me
a independent person while I was growing up. My mother taught me to cook and do
things around the house and my father who was into construction while I was growing up
taught me how to fix things around the house that needed to be done. This has been a
really good experience because now I am able to help them do things around their house
now since they are not able to do it. This has also helped me to teach my children to build
lots of knowledge of different things so that when they grown up and are on their own
they will be able to help themselves and not have to depend on anyone else for things.
Knowledge has always been very helpful when it comes to my education and making life
decisions. Knowledge is always a factor in making a decision. It is a big help because the
more information I know about something and whether I am able to do it helps me make
a decision on whether I should pass

After evaluating my answers according to the practical test my worldview is that of a theist. I say this because a theist believes: "A worldview that
entails belief in the existence of at least one personal and intelligent divine being" (Cosgrove, 2006). To ensure that I live my worldview out in the
world without conflict with others with different worldviews, I need to be objective. Although my actions would align with my personal worldview, in
other words, I might not be neutral when discussing certain issues with persons that hold a different worldview than mine, but I need to show respect
and able to interact with people of different faith on a daily basis. I should also come to the understanding that "worldviews shape every individual,

Your worldview is how you view the world through no one else's lenses but your own. The environment we grow up in can greatly influence
everyone's "personal" worldview. Although, if it is based on the opinions of your mother or father, is it really yours to claim? It is because of this
reason that there are so many worldviews in this world. We get so caught up sometimes in trying to figure out who's thoughts are more rational, while
the answer lies written in a book that is older than any of the views you may hear. From the very beginning, there was the Word (John 1:1)– meaning
the Bible. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Therefore, I rely on scripture to validate my own beliefs, and discern whose opinions are

We were created to rule overGod's creation, but unfortunately have developed the bad habit of taking advantage of it. This is what sets us apart from
the rest of God's creation. The Earth provides for us continually and we abuse it. It isn't until we start to see through God's eyes that we can truly value
the blessings he has created. Only He can give us the ability to see the world differently. I am not suggesting that humans are evil creatures that destroy
everything they touch. I am merely stating that without Jesus, we are on a destructive path – to ourselves, others, and God's creation. Not only did He
give us an entire planet, but more importantly, God gave us the Holy Spirit. The one and only species that has the ability to withhold the Holy Spirit is
the human race. We were all the Imago Dei, we all have a God–given power within, and we are all loved by our creator. This unites us more than
anything. As a Christian, the Holy Spirit is what inspires my worldview. The Holy Spirit gives me insight into how God sees his people and the
world he created. The world is full of orphans searching for purpose. They don't know their Father and they are putting their identity in temporary
things. At some point we are presented with a choice to believe in Jesus or to remain in our misleading state of mind.
Belief and opinion have two different meanings. "Unlike an opinion, a belief is a conviction based on cultural or personal faith,

I would describe my worldview towards the environment as a biocentrism person. This means I value all things. I also value plants and animals,
which means I also have a Conservation Ethic. In general, I believe people should conservation the environment. Other people may have different
worldviews, such as anthropocentrism and ecocentrism. People who have those views believe that make changes to improve human quality of life. I
do not agree with these views because I think we should not be selfish. If we become selfish we will forget about all the resources we need. I think
my culture has influenced the way I look at the environment because I see things different from other people. For example, other people may want
cars, money, etc. Of Course I will have a car, but that's not what life's all about. My family has influenced my views because, I have grow up with
them, being with them all the time made me more like them. I don't believe in their beliefs when it come to the environment tho. I am from Baton
Rouge, LA, which has also had an effect on the way I value the environment, because Baton Rouge, is different from other states and cities, for instance
Baton Rouge has different plants and animals from Washington DC....show more content...

Personal Worldview Essay My worldview has been shaped and expanded over the course of my lifetime by many different influences. My family,
friends, coworkers, teachers, and even strangers have made impacts on my life that have in one way or another changed how I view society and the
world around me. The three main components that help to form my worldview are Ethics, Human Nature, and God, because they molded my
thoughts, experiences, education and life decisions. I feel the strongest aspect of my worldview is my tremendous sense of ethics. They help to guide
my actions and decisions everyday. Ethics to me lay the foundations of a person's character. I feel that a person with good character will by default

I am hopeful that by understanding human nature I will come to understand the reasoning behind the choices people make. In recent years, God
has become a very important part of my life. I am determined to learn more about God and look forward to seeing what he has in store for me and
my family. At one time God was not a big part of my life, I did not attend church regularly or feel close to him. I have always believed in God and
Jesus Christ as our savior, but did not actively seek a closer relationship with him. I feel that much of that changed when I accepted my current job
in a church based preschool program. After taking the position in the preschool, I was then offered a position in the church's nursery on Sunday
mornings. I accepted this position also and my son and I started attending Church every Sunday. In the time since, my husband, myself, and our
children have all joined the Church, been baptized, and become very active in our Church. I feel that this was God's plan for us all along. I feel
that God guides our decisions each and everyday, and I now use prayer to seek his guidance for our lives. In the past seven weeks we have learned
about many different worldviews and have examined our own personal beliefs. After learning the many aspects of the different worldviews, I conclude
that I hold a Christian worldview. I have a

Personal Worldview My world view is strongly influenced by my faith, however working in the healthcare field I frequently meet individuals of
different religions and faiths. A worldview is a theory of the world, used for living in the world. A world view is a mental model of reality. It is a
framework of ideas and attitudes about the world, ourselves, and a comprehensive system of beliefs. A person 's worldview is affected by many
factors. These factors include inherited characteristics, background experiences and life situations. Also the values, attitudes, and habits a person has
developed, and these vary from one person to...show more content...
Therefore scientific knowledge is given the authority of interpreting all other forms when dealing with scientism.
Postmodernism refers to a discrete shift in the manner that humanistic intellectuals perceive the relation of their cultural practices to society at large.
Postmodernism may seem tolerant but in many ways it is not. For example, postmodernists tend to be skeptical of people (such as Christians) who
claim to know truth. Now that doesn 't mean that it is hostile to religion or spirituality. Postmodernists have no problem with religion unless it makes
certain claims about its religion.
Seven questions of World View A worldview is a person's perspective of the world, but at its core, it is a set of basic presuppositions that a person
believes through which they filter all other non–basic beliefs. The first question posed is, what is prime reality? What this question is asking is what is
real in the world. My personal believe is that the god I believe in is real. Atheist may answer differently. For example, they may say prime reality is
matter, the universe, or natural laws. The second question asked is, what is the nature of the world around you? This can be a controversial
discussion depending in whether you believe in god or the theory of evolution. People may wonder was the world created if so, by whom? Other
people may believe the world already existed or if it is something we create in our mind. The third question asks, what is a human

This means that no matter what I do as long as I am in accordance with God's will, everything will turn out for the best in the end. God has promised to give me hope and a future and to bless my life. "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do, Ephesians 2:10" (NIV). With this knowledge I know that God has created me exactly the way I should be and that he has given me talents and skills enough to do all he asks of me to do. I was created in God's image, created with God's character of love, mercy, grace and righteousness. According to AllAboutWorldviews.com, Christians believe "God has revealed Himself to people in a general way through creation and in a special (personal) way evidenced by His divine words and acts contained in the Bible and especially in the person of Jesus Christ" (2002, p.1). Through the Bible I can see specific evidence of what God's character looks like, Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Personal Worldview Essay Personal Worldview Essay The three components that make up my worldview are God, knowledge and ethics because they shape my thoughts, experiences, education and life decisions. I have picked these three components because it is not easy to get through life without God guiding us through our lives with our everyday decisions. The knowledge is important because God has put us here to teach and help others and the more I know about what I am doing and with the experience it is easier to help others. I try to follow the ethics that he has put out there for us and it helps keep me on track to follow what is right and wrong and to conduct myself in the appropriate way. • 4. do. I love being independent, which has come in handy since my husband got hurt at work and is limited to what he can and can not do. I can thank my parents for making me a independent person while I was growing up. My mother taught me to cook and do things around the house and my father who was into construction while I was growing up taught me how to fix things around the house that needed to be done. This has been a really good experience because now I am able to help them do things around their house now since they are not able to do it. This has also helped me to teach my children to build lots of knowledge of different things so that when they grown up and are on their own they will be able to help themselves and not have to depend on anyone else for things. Knowledge has always been very helpful when it comes to my education and making life decisions. Knowledge is always a factor in making a decision. It is a big help because the more information I know about something and whether I am able to do it helps me make a decision on whether I should pass Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Personal Worldviews After evaluating my answers according to the practical test my worldview is that of a theist. I say this because a theist believes: "A worldview that entails belief in the existence of at least one personal and intelligent divine being" (Cosgrove, 2006). To ensure that I live my worldview out in the world without conflict with others with different worldviews, I need to be objective. Although my actions would align with my personal worldview, in other words, I might not be neutral when discussing certain issues with persons that hold a different worldview than mine, but I need to show respect and able to interact with people of different faith on a daily basis. I should also come to the understanding that "worldviews shape every individual, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Personal Worldview Essay Your worldview is how you view the world through no one else's lenses but your own. The environment we grow up in can greatly influence everyone's "personal" worldview. Although, if it is based on the opinions of your mother or father, is it really yours to claim? It is because of this reason that there are so many worldviews in this world. We get so caught up sometimes in trying to figure out who's thoughts are more rational, while the answer lies written in a book that is older than any of the views you may hear. From the very beginning, there was the Word (John 1:1)– meaning the Bible. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). Therefore, I rely on scripture to validate my own beliefs, and discern whose opinions are ...show more content... We were created to rule overGod's creation, but unfortunately have developed the bad habit of taking advantage of it. This is what sets us apart from the rest of God's creation. The Earth provides for us continually and we abuse it. It isn't until we start to see through God's eyes that we can truly value the blessings he has created. Only He can give us the ability to see the world differently. I am not suggesting that humans are evil creatures that destroy everything they touch. I am merely stating that without Jesus, we are on a destructive path – to ourselves, others, and God's creation. Not only did He give us an entire planet, but more importantly, God gave us the Holy Spirit. The one and only species that has the ability to withhold the Holy Spirit is the human race. We were all the Imago Dei, we all have a God–given power within, and we are all loved by our creator. This unites us more than anything. As a Christian, the Holy Spirit is what inspires my worldview. The Holy Spirit gives me insight into how God sees his people and the world he created. The world is full of orphans searching for purpose. They don't know their Father and they are putting their identity in temporary things. At some point we are presented with a choice to believe in Jesus or to remain in our misleading state of mind. Belief and opinion have two different meanings. "Unlike an opinion, a belief is a conviction based on cultural or personal faith, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Personal Worldview I would describe my worldview towards the environment as a biocentrism person. This means I value all things. I also value plants and animals, which means I also have a Conservation Ethic. In general, I believe people should conservation the environment. Other people may have different worldviews, such as anthropocentrism and ecocentrism. People who have those views believe that make changes to improve human quality of life. I do not agree with these views because I think we should not be selfish. If we become selfish we will forget about all the resources we need. I think my culture has influenced the way I look at the environment because I see things different from other people. For example, other people may want cars, money, etc. Of Course I will have a car, but that's not what life's all about. My family has influenced my views because, I have grow up with them, being with them all the time made me more like them. I don't believe in their beliefs when it come to the environment tho. My family, friends, coworkers, teachers, and even strangers have made impacts on my life that have in one way or another changed how I view society and the world around me. The three main components that help to form my worldview are Ethics, Human Nature, and God, because they molded my thoughts, experiences, education and life decisions. I am hopeful that by understanding human nature I will come to understand the reasoning behind the choices people make. In recent years, God has become a very important part of my life. I am determined to learn more about God and look forward to seeing what he has in store for me and my family. At one time God was not a big part of my life, I did not attend church regularly or feel close to him. I have always believed in God and Jesus Christ as our savior, but did not actively seek a closer relationship with him. I feel that much of that changed when I accepted my current job in a church based preschool program. After taking the position in the preschool, I was then offered a position in the church's nursery on Sunday mornings. I accepted this position also and my son and I started attending Church every Sunday. In the time since, my husband, myself, and our children have all joined the Church, been baptized, and become very active in our Church. I feel that this was God's plan for us all along. I feel that God guides our decisions each and everyday, and I now use prayer to seek his guidance for our lives. In the past seven weeks we have learned about many different worldviews and have examined our own personal beliefs. After learning the many aspects of the different worldviews, I conclude that I hold a Christian worldview. I have a Get more content on HelpWriting.net

A worldview is a theory of the world, used for living in the world. A world view is a mental model of reality. It is a framework of ideas and attitudes about the world, ourselves, and a comprehensive system of beliefs. A person 's worldview is affected by many factors. Postmodernism refers to a discrete shift in the manner that humanistic intellectuals perceive the relation of their cultural practices to society at large. Postmodernism may seem tolerant but in many ways it is not. For example, postmodernists tend to be skeptical of people (such as Christians) who claim to know truth. Now that doesn 't mean that it is hostile to religion or spirituality. Postmodernists have no problem with religion unless it makes certain claims about its religion. Seven questions of World View A worldview is a person's perspective of the world, but at its core, it is a set of basic presuppositions that a person believes through which they filter all other non–basic beliefs. The first question posed is, what is prime reality? What this question is asking is what is real in the world. My personal believe is that the god I believe in is real. Atheist may answer differently. For example, they may say prime reality is matter, the universe, or natural laws. The second question asked is, what is the nature of the world around you? This can be a controversial discussion depending in whether you believe in god or the theory of evolution. People may wonder was the world created if so, by whom? Other people may believe the world already existed or if it is something we create in our mind. The third question asks, what is a human
