The industry of fast food is thriving all
over the world an not just world but
Pakistan, Let’s not forget about Lahore.
We chose this business not because it is
trending but because there are many
things ignored by people who do this
business.
QSR is the type of our business nature
with no dining and only takeaway and
delivery.
BITESWAY is such type of QSR
specializing in the aforementioned
activities.

5. DEMAND FOR PRODUCT
On an average calculation the fast food business in Pakistan and the
trend of eating habits of the locals in the country is increasing almost
21% annually which means the growth of the fast food business in
Pakistan is more than 20% on annual basis which makes it as one of
the fastest growing businesses not only in Pakistan but even in the
entire world as well.
The fast food industry in Pakistan is undergoing an escalated boom.
Despite fierce competition, this industry has managed to generate
profitability and is well-received by the local masses as well.

6. KEY ACTIVITIES
Each business in QSR ( quick
service restaurant ) is
characterized by its individual
service providing.
The key activities of our business
will be takeaway and home
delivery and we wish to provide
them a service they cannot forget.

7. LOCATION
Location for our business will be
Moon Market Gulshan Ravi.
Our main operations will take
place in front of a house which is
the house of one of our partners,
Abdullah.
The reason is because there is
ease in storing our required raw
materials and ingredients
without spoiling them and
damaging them. There is also
ease in logistical operations such
as bringing the supplies with
less cost. Also it is the main road

8. SIZE OF BUSINESS UNIT
The business unit is of small size because
it requires less operational and set up
cost.
And also starting from small scale
provides less risk in case of unexpected
loss. It can be theft, an epidemic such as
covid-19 and maybe a natural disaster
etc.
Small businesses are easy to maintain
and also require less manpower to
operate and can be managed by less
complicated management system.

9. PROVISION OF CAPITAL
The most important factor of starting
a business is the capital. The capital
allowed is 1million Rs or 10 lakh
rupees. After calculation the start up
cost was calculated to be 266,900Rs
including buying of supplies of one
month. The capital left was calculated
to be 733,100 The capital was used
carefully.

10. SELECTION OF STAFF
The operational duties are divided among the partners. Each one has
to perform their designated duties

Chef of shawarma … Iqra
Mustafa and Abdullah …. Helpers in packaging and recording to
Shahzaib

11. EQUIPMENT
All the things related to production and
operation are equipment. The equipment
in our business will be two joint cooking
stove for shawarma and burgers, sitting
for cashier( chair and a small table) , a
deep freezer, ingredient containers such
as baskets and bowls and other such
things.

12. PLAN LAYOUT
The plan layout means to harmonize the
production and operations of all kinds. Since our
business is concerned with production all the
production and related equipment is placed in
non-cluttering positions. The cooking stoves
occupy almost 8 feet of area and the freezers
containing cold drinks is placed inside of the
house in lawn.

13. LEGAL FORMALITIES
According to our survey most fast street food business are not
registered. There are legal formalities but most people don’t perform
them.
There is a way to register fast food business but we will not register it
yet.

14. ENVIRONMENT FACTOR
Fast food industry is the 2nd largest in Pakistan. It
provides total employment of 16% in manufacturing
sector with an estimated 180 million consumers.
Pakistan holds the world’s largest market when it
comes to fast food and food related businesses.

But lets not forget this is also the cause of major
littering which causes pollution i.e. The litter and
pollution caused by polythene bags and food wastes.
To avoid pollution and littering we use proper
garbage bins and use paper bags for packaging. Also
we clean our set up area after we close up.

16. PROFIT DISTRIBUTION
After calculating and subtracting the expense, the monthly profit will
be divides equally among all the partners.
Total rev- total exp = 345,300-158,400
Profit =186,900 Rs
Profit per partner per month= 186,900/6
=31,150 Rs
