Modify a verb, an adjective,
   or another adverb
When modifying a verb, adverbs
                ask…..

Where?                        When?
The plant grew here.          Later, we toured greenhouses.
The snake slid underground.   The boat sails daily.

In what way?                  To what extent?
He officially announced it.   He always did it.
She was graciously helping.   Wash completely after
                              painting.
Adverbs modifying adjectives or other
          adverbs ask……

4.   I opened the door cautiously.
5.   That was an extremely funny comedian.
