3. COVID-19: the facts
COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus.
It’s spread through coughs, sneezes,
and contaminated surfaces.
The incubation period of COVID-19
is between 2 to 14 days. This means that
if a person remains well 14 days after
contact with someone with confirmed
coronavirus, they have not been infected.
The current government guidance is to
self-isolate for a period of at least 7 days
if you have developed a new persistent
cough, temperature, fever or other flu
or viral symptoms.
If you need to self-isolate, there’s no
need to provide a sick note – just update
CharlieHR and tell your manager.

12. Buffalo 7’s response (option 1)
Our priority
is keeping you safe
To minimise the possibility of infection
to you or your families, we’ve taken
these additional steps:
• From Monday, 16th March,
we’d like you to work remotely,
ideally from home.
• You should have all the hardware
and software you need, if not,
speak to your manager.
• Attend all internal and external
meetings as normal, using Zoom.
In a nutshell, we are working exactly
the same as before, just remotely.
13. Buffalo 7 will continue to keep offices
open and operate as usual, unless further
guidance is issued by the government
to warrant our closure.
If that happens, we’ll inform all employees
by 9pm the evening before the closure.

14. What impact will this have?
We expect very little impact to our working

your health, your job, your family, and many other things
in this rapidly-changing situation.
We recognise that this is a stressful time, and that periods
of illness and isolation can have a negative impact on your
mental health and wellbeing. We are committed to
providing ongoing support to all Buffalo 7 employees.
If you need any help or support, speak to your manager.

of the pandemic, which will apply in
both of the following situations:
