Brittany A. Rogness received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 2015, with a minor in Environmental Science. She studied abroad in Fiji in 2014, where she researched coral reef ecology and analyzed juvenile scalloped hammerhead sharks. Currently she works at Governor Dodge State Park, managing operations and overseeing park cleanliness. She has also worked as an animal caretaker at UW-Platteville, researching habitats for amphibians and reptiles, and as a bat technician, assisting with capturing and tagging bats.
