Re: Recommendation for Brian Fredrickson
Dear Talent Acquisition Manager,
Let me start by saying that I have been nothing less than impressed with Brian Fredrickson's
knowledge, communication skills and professionalism. For the last two years that I have been
his Department Head, he has consistently showed these skills and more. His peformance as
my Assistant Security Manager has been exceptional and he consistently performed at a level
higher than his pay grade. I completely endorse him for any position that requires a great
measure of integrity and attention to detail.
Brian is reliable, dedicated, and level headed. His ability to remain calm and focused on the task
at hand has made him one of my most trusted sailors. His meticulous nature and excellent
administrative skills were key in his handling of over 300 personal security records, 27
background investigations, four annual security audits and countless hours of training.
One example I can use to demonstrate his accomplishments as my Assistant Security Manager
was when Brian was asked to plan and execute a short notice unclassified tour of our
submarine fcfr over 100 guests. In 3 days, he coordinated between 5 different organizations,
performed multiple inspections of the submarine to veriff it was properly declassified and
verified that all safety requirements were met. Additionally, he created and executed a plan
that arranged for transportation, the briefing of tour guides and assignment of specific duties.
His efforts in the development of this detailed operational plan were greatly appreciated by both
the chain of command and the visitors alike. Planning and problem solving at that level would
normally have to be accomplished by a more senior sailor or officer.
Brian has my highest recommendation and deserues top consideration for any position that he,
may apply. I am happy to furnish more details if you would like additional information.
