it turns out that both millennial daughters and their Boomer dads could profit by sharing fi-
nancial advice with each other.
Many of those dads, according to Fidelity Investments’Retirement SavingsAssessment, could
pass on a thing or two about what to do with a windfall (20 percent of boomer males, com-
pared to just 8 percent of millennial women, would invest it in a diversified portfolio to grow
their money). Those same daughters, on the other hand, are savvier when it comes to things
like using online budgeting aids (67 percent vs. 38 percent).
